Howdy - lykaboss. Came across your post. And not to beat a dead horse. I know how you feel and the disappointment. It is too bad you did not propagate another strain at the same time for comparison sake. I try to have three plants growing. This last time, I was looking forward to the AK-47 and only had two seeds. Just like you same process. In water and paper towel. Nice taproot and nothing. Waited day after day while others thrived. Tried again and the same results. First seed was MIA could not find it in the soil and the second one the tap root either retracted or disintegrated. Very odd. Five is just too odd when you have germinated seeds in the past. The responses above ought to help. I wrote mine off as bad seeds. Good luck.

That makes way too much sence and is sure what I ought to do. I have a dead heating pad. I don't know why I saved it. Tonight I'm gonna sneak upstairs to her personal seed starting cabinet and steal my heating pad back and put the dead one in its place she will never know the difference until she finds her seeds didn't sprout. He he. Pepper seeds are cheap. I will buy her a new pack my Nightshade seeds were expenxive.
