Tent Questions

Hi all...I didn't see anything specific on tent set ups and so forth...

So I'm going to sticky this thread for any questions and answers that you members with tents, can answer...

Also, if you have any pics of how your tent is set up, please post them...Pictures say a 1000 words...
Basically, as far as pics go, mostly looking for how yours is set up...Not so much about the plants...

Thanks for your cooperation and I hope this thread gets the attention that new tent buyers, like myself, can gain some info...:peace:

The best grow tents are both durable and stable. They will be able to safely support all of the equipment you are likely to hang in your grow space. The best grow tents for growing cannabis will also prevent light leaks which can cause a number of serious issues with your grow - especially during the flowering stage of growth. When choosing an indoor grow tent, many growers opt for thick materials, overlapping zipper flaps, reflective interiors (to help evenly distribute light within the grow tent), and metal support rods/connectors for the frame. Many of the grow tents available today can be easily assembled, with no tools required. The most common grow tent sizes are 2'x4', 3'x3', 4'x4', 5'x5', and 4'x8'. Grow tents are usually between 60"-80" tall. If you are looking to grow 1-2 medium plants, a smaller tent such as a 2'x4' or 3'x3' is sufficient. If you are planning to grow 4-5 plants, a 4'x4' or 5'x5' grow tent is a better choice. Growers looking to grow more than 5 plants will typically need something larger like a 4'x8' grow tent.

I like having multiple rooms so I have 2 5 by 5 and 1 4 by 4 and that way one is mother/veg/clone, the others are flowering rooms each set to different environments to keep them healthy

I went with The 2018 Upgraded version growneer 2x4 tent It has the Removable bottom for cleaning and a shitload of 4 and 6 inch ports for just about any setup you can come up im using a bathroom exhaust fan on a dimmer for speed control its way quieter and way way cheaper than the inline fans for sale and i made my own Carbon filter if you have time you can make alot of the things you need and put the money in other important things like the Lights and Genetics. . heres a pic of my current setup Cost me around $300 and is pretty much 100% automated all i do is add water.

You can have a try if you like lol

I like the Growneer upgraded tents. There are high quality and made for growing weed in mind. And very cheap. They have a Removable bottom tray and they have Cord holes and exhaust holes everywhere so you can set up your tent anyway you can imagine.

I bought another tent yesterday. I know it sounds funny, but next time you guys are going to purchase a piece of equipment, check Wayfair.com before you make your purchase. They have some incredible deals.

I picked up a 5 x 5 x 7 grow tent for $60 and got free shipping. I am very picky when it comes to grow tents, too. I like for there to be large intake holes on BOTH sides (on the bottom, as well as exhaust holes on BOTH sides (at the top). I hate it when there is only one intake hole and it’s on the back wall of the tent which is going to be pushed up against a wall! That’s just bad design IMO. The same tent is all over the web for about $100-$115, including Amazon.

The cool thing about Wayfair is they don’t ever do return shipping. So, if you receive your purchase and it is damaged in ANY way, they refund your money and tell you to keep the item.

I found this out because I purchased a 50-pint dehumidifier for my grow room is going into flower mode. The unit had a tiny dent on the front of the machine, so I called them just to let them know. They refunded $170 and told me to keep it! Then I read their policy on their website. They don’t do product returns. Cool, right?
