Tent Questions

Hi all...I didn't see anything specific on tent set ups and so forth...

So I'm going to sticky this thread for any questions and answers that you members with tents, can answer...

Also, if you have any pics of how your tent is set up, please post them...Pictures say a 1000 words...:thumbs:
Basically, as far as pics go, mostly looking for how yours is set up...Not so much about the plants...

Thanks for your cooperation and I hope this thread gets the attention that new tent buyers, like myself, can gain some info...

I'm hoping to get allot of of this seeing some how I am looking at getting a 4x4x7 tent from Lighthouse Hydro. As far as lights and such I have not decided. Cheers AFN folk.

The filter you get depends on what size your tent is Sq ft size. And how much you want or don't want to smell. Activated charcoal I hear is the way to go. Also on that note, I've been told it's better to get a filter that the ends come off therefore you can change the charcoal when it wears out version buying a new filter... all in your preference. Also you will want a variable speed fan. And not a cheap in line fan you want one that looks like a bell if you will. But if you look at the package deals they usually tell you what the coverage area is.

Can anyone tell me if LA tents are good or not? I plan on getting a 32x32x72 LA tent, with a 400w MH/HPS for 2 plants 3 max, will have 6" exhaust pulling through carbon filter first inside tent with passive intake, and 2 osilating fans. Does this sound like a pretty good basic setup an if I like it then I can upgrade the lights an tent?? Thanks everyone!

Sounds like the basics are covered. Get a wireless temp/humidity monitor at the canopy level in the tent so these can be checked often in your tents closed environment......

Hello guys.
Just recently made a growbox set and I want some opinion and advice for a beginner grower.
Tent: Mammoth 90x90x180 /3x3/
Ballast: Nanolux 400w dimmable
Bulb: Sylvania SHP-TS Groxpress 400w
Vent: CFM 180 4" inlive ventsTT pulling trhough a carbon filter (can filters 150m3) across a cooltube (and bulb of course) out to the room.
For fresh air: duct fan 4"
Soil: Plagron Growmix (4 weeks of nutrients)
For blooming: Plagron bloom mix & Plagron pk13-14
Right now they are in cups, pots will be around 5liter each.
At cups at he moment (2 sprouted already): 3x(Sensi seeds) Skunk#1auto , 5x WhiteWhidowAuto (Bulkseeds), 2x BigBudAuto (Bulkseeds)
(I know autos shoudnt be transplanted but I think I can handle them nicely, avoiding any stress)
Any tips, advice for the equipment or growing method highly appreciated.
Also with 10 seeds, SOG is available for me in this small tent?

Hi, i run a 4x4x7 with a 6" 440cfm w/controller set to low and its still way overkill. I have to leave a vent open or my tent sucks into the point where i fear seams will rip. I think you will be fine.
