She has been growing fairly well and showing off some variegation on her baby leaves. That's funky. I don't remember seeing that on my AU grows before.

does a plant grow out of the variegation or will it look like this till the end ? i have a DP passion fruit photo period with it

To be honest, I am not completely sure. Based on my experiences, all the ones that I've had expressing this has grown out of it but this one has a lot more pronounced expression. I guess we will see, eh?

Today I made a switch to Telos 0008 as our little baby is not so much of a baby anymore. As I learned that this light has enormous photon output while you can have it around 40 - 50 cm away from a mature plant comfortably, I thought to try to hang the light first to 95 cm distance from the young plant and let it grow and adapt to the light dynamically. Let's see how this approach would work. If I start to see too long nodal spacing, I will have to take the light down some more.
Compared to HS1, Telos 0008 did raise the temperature in the grow cabinet by 2,2 degrees in celcius. This is still quite well tolerated.

I did topping for this plant. Took out the larger fan leaves and did some LST for the side branches. Plan is to try to grow some distance to these branches from each other and mercilessly cut some of the lower branches as they emerge in order to keep this nice and tidy. Variegation is not too noticeable in new growth anymore. Growth hasn't been what I've used to expect from your typical AU but we will keep pushing on with her. I am sure she will deliver.
