Indoor Teetee does some Dinafem & Dutch Passion goodies with Skyline LEDs

@Fatr34 I sure have experienced them before! You say your mum has seen the same ones on your property before right? Because I have a bad feeling these fuckers are even getting into fresh bags of Coco...

My best advice would be to attack them with multiple methods as just one rarely if ever works.. first stop though would be the eco neem from Bunnings, great product just read the instructions thoroughly.

Sticky traps from bunnos also catch hundreds but are only made to catch them in order to diagnose the fact they're there... But they still help imo!

Next would be removing as much of the top layer of Coco as possible without totally disturbing heaps of good feeder roots... This makes the most noticeable difference as you physically remove the bulk of the eggs (yellow fuzzy balls) and should probably be done before the eco neem but after new Coco is added.

And finally a can of white oil works wonders in slowing these bastards down, I spray a rag and wipe the rag allover the topside of my plants leafs, the entire pot top and bottom and a little bit of the tent floor.

Another option is DE (Diaomataceous Earth) that's not available at bunnos I don't think.

Hope this helps bro, all the best.

@orrganic thanks for that info.......
I'm gonna need that someday, I'm sure.:slap:

Earlier in the grow, I noticed these 8mm long black beetle like things swimming in the WW run off.... haven't seen any since the two I killed. When we used to rent a place with a pool, I'd occasionally see the same bugs in there. I wonder wtf they are?

Anyways, @Fatr34 looks like a trip to Bunnings is in order. If funds stretch, maybe get a cheap 15L wet dry vac and get that top layer out plus give the tent a good hoover up, then aqua vac for the run off when you flush them out!
Good luck man!

Hey dudes, just thought id input some info about getting rid of 'soil born' critters,, GnatMix is the best thing ive used,.recycled glass,, I even use it in the garden as snails and slugs cant handle it either.
I wont bore you with the technical details, a google search will tell you more than I can, but heres a pic to get the research ball rolling.

No problem mate, sorry to Jack your thread aswell I thought it was r34s.

Mate, that's not jacking when you put up great advice...... I just don't like it when people put up random pics of their own (monster plants) and showcase thier results on my thread!
@Fatr34 's been my grow buddy all they way, so he's cool too!

Are you've had em to little fuckers haha.
Yeh I was talking to her she reckons they were different looked like little ticks hers didn't fly were on the spring onions haha.
And I don't think they were in my Coco as I've only seen them come up the last week. But you've got me freaking as I've had half a bag I was about to use sitting in the shed it's fair wrapped up tho I'll have to have a good look now. And now I can't start others cos I don't want to infect them till all is done and out of the tent haha.

Ok well looks like a trip to Bunnings is in order haha. I'll get a pic later but my Coco shrunk heaps and keep loosing abit water it's like a inch below the top and I can see roots already I keep pushing the Coco and perlite back over it. So I don't know if I could dig much out I'll get a pic. Do you reckon them being semi exposed is giving me issues to? I don't think I have them to bad tho as I put sticky things in yesterday and only caught a couple . But stjll want to fuck them off haha.

I'll give all that except the de stuff ago today and see how we go thanks so much man

Yeh I was going to say sorry about that to but looks like it was some handy info we could all use.

And cheers for that

It's day 81 and the tent is a forest of thick sticky colas!
Each plant smells different, and they're in full bloom, so there's a real stank going on.

day 81 group.JPG

Clockwise from bottom left.... Night Queen, Glueberry OG, Blue Amnesia XXL and White Widow XXL

Blue Amnesia been a looker right from the start, she's fat, hairy and she absolutely stinks!

Here she is from the right side door....

day 81 BA 1.JPG

You can see how much I have trimmed away, look at all that branching!

A closer look at the chunky buds.....

day 81 BA 2.JPG

Here she is from the other side......

day 81 BA 3.JPG

The Blue Amnesia looks like being the tastiest of the bunch. There's more than just blueberry in that smell, it's very intoxicating just smelling my fingers after I've plucked a few crispies out. Yum!

The colossal White Widow best seen from the left side door....

day 81 WW 1.JPG

.... and with the lights off, you can see she's looking very healthy......

day 81 WW 2.JPG

...... from a different angle you can see how deep those thick long buds go! She is a MONSTER!!!

day 81 WW 3.JPG

Her buds smell very piney citrussy.... I'm looking forward to smoking some of this and it looks like I'm gonna get a good supply!

The Glueberry is shorter than the WW and BA, but she is full of thick sticky buds with that familiar hashy/fruity scent.....

day 81 GB.JPG

Her colas are so heavy, I've had to attach 14 yoyo's to hold her up! I'd use more, but I ran out.
I plan to give her another week before I start flushing.

I AM flushing the Night Queen .... she produced much smaller colas than the others, but I'm happy with what she's got..... the buds themselves are fat, solid and sticky.

day 81 NQ 1.JPG

The buds are thick with trichomes and smell lovely.... strawberry milkshakey.
The sweet taste disguises how insanely strong this stuff is!

day 81 NQ 2.JPG

She's been flushing for 4 full days now, I use plain rain water (fuck I hope it rains soon!), plus 1ml/L Advanced Nutrients - 'Flawless Finish'. I don't bother pH balancing it.... when I check, it seems to be around pH 5.8 to 6.3 ish most of the time.

While Im here to how are you guys flushing ? Week of same amount of water as usual but no nutes. Or couple of big flushes?

I put 10L in immediately Bro, then an hour later put another 5 in...... and keep putting 5L in every 3-4 hours for the first day, then slow it down to 5L twice a day with a 3L given an hour after the 5L.... if you see what I mean..... I hydrate the plant, then allow time for the excess nutrients to move from the plant into the medium, then flush again to bring the EC of the medium down again...... rinse and repeat....

After 3-4 days the EC of the run off is down to a steady 0.1, so to avoid bud rot, I get chopping, tonight! This is the easy one!

Happy Growing!
