Lighting T5/CFL only thread (the manual)

I live in nor cal and my box is 4x4x4 perfect squate box with a 8 bulb T~5 and my box to has had a heat rise.iy was syable at a cool 80.now its a warmer 82..its only feb..i run my lights from 4pm to 10am..its been runnin perfect,but all the sudden it rose 2 degrees..
Any advice on it would GREATLY help..

How's your whether been outside lately? I notice this a lot in my grow room myself. But as long as you can keep the range between 73 at a low and 83 as a high, they'll be fine...
Do you have a hydrometer that keeps the highs and lows? If not, it would be a good thing to have...Also, besides the temps. outdoors, watch the humidity. I bet you see a change there to...

But don't worry. Unless it starts getting in the 86 degree area for long periods of time....

The weather is deff "spring like" during the day,but cold at nigjt..which is y my light comes on at 4pm..but now its warm at 4pm now..my only guess to y the temps have rose...like u said I do need a few more gadgets to "lock down" my box...ive NEVER seen my box over 82,or under 70..hooka thinks its still early for autos outside,but as soon as its nice...the "cube"..ha,will b shut down...thanks rip for your input through out this whole grow...much love to u and yours..happy growin:buds:

Light: 3x CFL 45W (2700k)
Pot: 3.5l

Yield: 30-40g?

Great DIY Light Andy.
I started buying some components to build one, then bought a Bad Boy. Now I am going to use this smaller light to start them while in a "more convenient area". before moving them to the final grow room with a 4 bulb T-5.

Here's my small homegrown CFL fixture. Running 4 42w bulbs in there now, with room for two more on the sides when the plants are larger. But this may be getting replaced with a T5 fixture in the very near future...

I've been reading about how to LST a plant. My finished grow room height will only be 20" tall with light to fit. Gives me about 16" max I am guessing.

Thanks! I haven't used mine since I got my T5 fixtures, but one of these days I'll put it back into service for a 'males only' area. Perfect for that since I'll have complete control over the amount of lights & I only want to grow them big enough to give me some pollen.
