Fast Buds Sweet treats from Fastbuds - Orange Sherbet & Bubblegum

So I have some new lighting on they way! I order the Marshydro SP 3000 last night and should be delivered Saturday. Hopefully I can get it Saturday night, but soon if not. Now i need to find out what others are using for distance, and if they dim or not. @WildBill you the SP 3000 don't you? If so what distance is yours?

@Green Hornet shit I know I smoke a lot, I forgot to ask you about the distance you give your ladys lol. Your girls look lovely so I know you dont get to close. Are yours at 100%?

:cools:Cool you popped on the SP. I first started with the recommended distance in the user manual when I had my SP's in the flower room. When I put one of the SP's in my 5x5 grow tent I had it really high (3 foot over the top of the plants) and it worked well. I adjusted the dimmer to 50% when the plants were young and then cranked it higher as they grew. In flower I turned the dimmer to max 100%. When I hooked up the hook supports for the cables I moved the hangers all the way to the outside ends of the light. It may be better to move them in a few inches from the ends for better support. The light frames are aluminum and in retrospect moving them in may help the lights from bowing just a thought. I do get great plant growth with the SP's compared to HPS or MH. :baked:

Yeah, seeing your plants loving the SP it was a no brainer. I'm limited with on height with only being 5'. I will check out what manual has to say, good tip on the hangers wouldnt have thought of that lol.

Day 20

Hey everybody, hope your day is off to a good start! Back with an update and girls are little small. I turned the exhaust on was getting to much condensation. That really smashed my RH so had to add my little humidifier which is helping, but still dry. It's that time of the year so do what you can, but is what it is. I'm sure that slowed them down as well as I gave them a little supercrop on the stem. I wanted to top them, but not sure they are strong enough to do so.

I need to transplant these ladies, but I need the to dry out a little 1st.

Good news on the light, said arriving tomorrow!!! We're getting more snow so we will see if it comes. That should help out some getting that in while still in veg, but she needs to let here roots out those transplants bags are getting smaller by the day lol. I hope to have that done by the weekend so I can start training them asap. I got the tent cleaned out, havent done much else. The cold always messes with growth here early on. We will see if I can get them cookin' here soon time is not wait for them or me. Stay lifted.

Day 22

Ok, so I got my SP 3000 put in last night and she looks pretty in my tent.

Very bright even at only 50%. I have it at 18" for now and see how they do.

I decided to transplant last night, and what a mess lol! I did the Bubblegum 1st and she basically fell apart. Then I end up spilling a bunch of pro mix all over the place. She didnt look good, I thought she may not make it. The Orange Sherbert did better, but still rough. Transplant bags were stiff and hard to pull off. I only used 1 before and I remember it was rough that time too. I'm going to work them some to soften them up. Any tips on them would be appreciated. I gave them all the water I had, which wasn't enough. This morning the Bubblegum looks better so I think she might be ok. She don't look good but that's how bad she looked.

The OS isnt center and I have some support on the BG. No way I will top at this point, but i did supercrop both again prior to transplant. I will give them a few days or until them perk up and then start training them. I prefer starting in final pot and this is why. In the end I think the will be stunted, or if nothing else got a late start in training because I dont normally transplant. Oh well I had these bag figured I'd use them. Styrofoam was easier for me, but I'll work with them and see if I can figure them out. I'm sure it's me and not the bags lol. Feels like the velcro should go all the way underneath bag for it to pop out without busting. Nice bag for when I make seeds. I dont need a huge plant to spray for making pollen. Stay lifted.
