Strain - Sweet Tooth Auto, Barneys Farm

Soil
- Bio Bizz Light Mix

Pot Size
- 11 litre (3 gallon)

Nutes
- Bio Bizz Grow+Bloom

Extras
- Ain THC Neem, foliar sprayed every 10-15 days as a preventative for bugs

Location
- Inside large south facing glass door, underfloor heating keeps the roots nice and warm. 2-3 hours in the morning under a cooker stove/hood with 3 built in CFL lights put out a nice bit of heat as well. When weather permits outside on south facing terrace, receives 7-10 hours of direct sunlight.

This is my first journal and my first time growing this strain, have with reasonable success in the past growing Big Bang Auto and Auto Bomb from Greenhouse Seeds under the same conditions and time of the year.

The grow is going to start of inside and hopefully as weather permits will be moved outside. The seed is has currently been germinating for 24 hours using the paper towel method, inside two small plates, on top of a cooker hood with built in lights that keep the hood nice and warm.

Once the seed pops i will be putting it straight into the 11 litre pot, with the Bio Bizz light mix where they will remain, with only water being given when needed for the first 2-3 weeks, and after that will start off with a weak mix of the grow nutes increasing the amount as and when needed.

Weather here is not great for the next month or so, for that reason the plants will be inside until weather allows then to be moved outside onto the terrace, due to space restrictions and cost i dont have a indoor setup available, but the following method has worked in the past for the above mentioned strains with ok results and produces enough to keep me in bud till a harvest later in the year.

Plants will start off with light from 3 CFLs that are built into the cooker hood for the first couple of hours in the mornings and are then moved in front of a large south facing glass terrace door which receives 6 hours of direct sunlight, on the days the weather allows it which should be most in about a months time they will be moved onto the south facing terrace receiving about 7-10 hours of direct light as the days get longer and back inside for the night till about the last 3-4 weeks when the weather would have improved enough to leave them out all night.

Thats it for now, will get some pics up once she sprouts (day 1), and then will continue from there with weekly updates/pics.

Take it easy and happy growing.:stylez rasta smoke:

Day 0.

Ok so the seed has popped, total time needed was 36 hours soaking in the paper towels. Have now transplanted the seed into her final home the 11 litre pot with Bio Bizz Light Mix soil. Will update again at day 1 (when she first sprouts), have also added some pics of germination and her potted up.

Happy Growing

Matt.

That's good. We encourage even new folks to share thier knowledge, as long as it is solid, and true. Our one goal is to eleminate MIS information.

Hello Spanglish,

Nice choice on beans, hope to see them real soon yes?

I have a friend who made a Sweet Tooth Auto, but he calls it the Sweet N Low. But it IS good stuff. One of the best auto strains I have had the pleasure of consuming.

Good luck with yer grow friend, I'll be back.

Hola from the Balearics Spanglish. looking forward to this one!

Thanks for the offers of support, am sure I will need some as from past experience I don't think a problem free grow exists. Just the one bean planted for now, am saving the rest for when the weather improves and I can get a proper outdoor grow in.

First time with anything from Barneys farm, have grown Big Bang and Auto Bomb from Greenhouse in the past, they seemed to take longer than most auto's and all of them tried to hermie, managed to pull of the balls and save pollination each time but have gone for something different this time to see if that makes a difference.

Hopefully a day or two till she breaks soil and time to get this show on the road.

Hey, Spanglish. Passing through to see what your up too.
Very nice set up you have. Definitely interested to see what you get.
Hopefully it will smell ridiculously sweet for you my friend. :Sharing One::karma Cloud:"JM's a Hippy"

Hi Bro,

Is what i like to call the "Winter Survivalist Setup" works for when you need to start a plant out and you are getting the sun needed, which we do here but is way to cold still outside. Thought i would try out the lights built into our stove hood on the last time i did a grow like this, for some extra light in the mornings between about 9am and 12pm when the sun is not coming in through the glass, and i was suprised how well it worked. The lights are also putting out a nice bit of heat, burnt the top of a plant last year when it got closer then 10cm to them. Leave her there all day on the few cloudy days we have and you could see continued growth in veg.

Between 12pm-13pm she is moved in front of the huge glass terrace doors where she stays all day till sun goes down 6pm at the moment but will be up to 7.30pm in about 2 weeks and gets constant sun the whole time. Also undoor floor heating in the wooden floor she is sitting on, which heats the black pot nicely from the bottom.

Not the best conditions but when last summers stash is down to a couple of grammes and you get nothing till your next harvest, except the sweet leaf trim for a couple of months, it works well and will only be another month till i can plant the next bean and get a proper outdoor harvest in. Hopefully will have it outside before it smells to sweet or the wife will castrate me lol.

Day 0.5

She has just started to break soil today, has shed the seed casing nicely and dont seem to be showing any kind of deformations, so far so good but still so far to go. Will call it day one proper starting tomorrow, once the cotelyns have opened fully and she is standing up straight.
