i got 3 short stuff seeds that were supposed to be all female. It came out 2 males and 1 female, i destroyed 1 male.
2 female blue diesel
3 Russian rocket fuel with 1 male
3 dr feel good all female.

If I let them grow naturally, how do you think the seeds will turn out. I want to do a huge guerrilla grow in August using said seeds. The plants are about 1month right now.

I plan on killing my males in about 2 weeks when my diesel Ryder is done, I'll also plant my Taison and NYCD - not breeding that stuff yet lol

Sounds like how I got my first kid...the breeding noob. ..not the guys that look like ladies part.[emoji15]

When crossing strains you never know what you're going to get. That's why it's fun! Starting with good genetics will hopefully ensure that however they turn out, they will be good. I crossed a Dutchbreed Lowberry and a Lowlife Auto AK47, and I got a great hybrid. It's beautiful and smells like berries. Here's a pic. Good luck. Post the results when you grow out some seeds.

dam that does look tasty. Does any one have experience how much % of the F1 seeds have autoflowering traits? To my knowledge the autoflowering gene is recessive because in the first generation there is generally a much higher % of photosensitive plants. At least thats what I read from an interview with the Dinafem breeder, I will try to find it again.

My smallest pot has 4 plants, had 5 but I killed one male. The remaining male is huge

greetings, good strains you have going,i'm following the thread,i like to know more maybe i can breed a new strain even though is litghtseasons away but i'll take all the info and knowledge i learn here,

One thing I learned the first 2 times on my own are that the seeds have to mature after you harvest them. I have found it takes about 2-3 months before you want to plant them after you harvest the seeds. I tried to plant my first batch of seeds about 1 week after I harvested them and all but 1 lived and I did it again the second time killing all seeds so don't try to sprout them rite away. I am in belief that the seeds under go a process called embryo dormancy. Hope this helps you from making the same mistake I did early in my growing.

I have bred as soon as plants could pollinate usually they release there pollen at about around day 30 ( showing sex at around day 17-21 ) for me from seed and I let them go full tern (About 70-80 days from seed) and they don't live for me unless I age the seeds. On a different note though I have pollinated the pre flowers that are on the stalk and just seeded those as they don't form buds and have had my cake and ate it too :) Well my wife ate it as I don't smoke :( or cant smoke. I have also gave seeds that were about 1 week old to friends and had poor to no germination before so I don't even give seeds unless I have aged them first. Either way he will have too many seeds to germinate all at once so if it dose not work at first he will have a lot of shots at it. I usually make my seeded plants small. Like grow them in a 16 oz solo cup small and will pull about 50-100 seeds from a small 8" tall plant with very little branching. I usually do this out side of the grow room under some small CFLs as a side project. If I am after a lot of seeds I use 1 gallon pots and will pull 250-500 seeds. I believe you will pull way more if you wait about 1 month in to flower to let the pollen fly but I end up with so may seeds I don't need thousands and this is per plant so if I pollinate 4 plants its way more than enough. I don't like growing the same stuff over and over so after about 20 seeds I am ready for something new unless it is a long term project. I would recommend keeping a few of your early seeds stored away for long term as I miss my early grows and wish I had a few seeds of my earlier stuff.
