Ok guys, so after trolling the forums and not so patiently awaiting my seeds, I can finally begin my Diesel Ryder speaker grow.

Strain: Diesel Ryder Autoflowering Feminized by "The Joint Doctor"
Soil: FoxFarm Ocean Forest
Nutes: FoxFarm Trio
Lights:
Veg- 3x13w 6500k CFL's
Flowering- 4x23w 2700k CFL's

First off, a picture of my box, it's got 16 inches of space from soil. It has 1 CPU fan torn out of an old dell computer.

Currently my seeds are germing in a tupperware container with the classic paper towel method.

All input appreciated!

Great news! The seed has cracked and the root tip is emerging out of the shell, I'll be planting a bit later today and will include pictures!

By the way, does anyone know if it will hurt an autoflower to start it in a party cup? I'll be growing in a 4.5 Litre container since I have to keep it around 15"

hey ultra, setup looks cool! have you checked out microgrowers threads? as the name implies he is a seasoned box grower. iwould like to sub on with your permission. cheers& beers!

Feel free! Do you happen to know if it is harmful to start an AF in a smaller container and transplant?

Also, since the life cycle is so short, how does the fox farm feeding schedule change for an autoflower in comparison to a photosensitive strain?

ultra go up to header use advanced locater type in tier method you will find quite a few threads on autos grown in paty cups in a two tier system first cup holes in the bottom for drainage second cup with bottom cut out go thru a couple of those sites you will get the ppros and cons and a couple of different methods with photos and detailed instructions. have a good one mate. ps the short answer is yes!

I have 3 13watts for veg, I hear 30w is enough for AF veg. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

you can never have to much light with cfls. if you have the room. i run two large cfls equivelent to 250w down low for lower half of plants. led above 375 watt not a lot of room in the speaker box, if you can squeeze another bulb in it can only help.
