Indoor Starting to grow and planning to do it perpetually. BlackBerry Kush and Jack Herer ATM!

All great ideas for the future. My honest and humble opinion again.....

Walk before you run.

You are yet to chop your first plant and grow a perfectly healthy plant and are already looking into a C02 system

C02 is for when you are DIALED IN..... your plants are smashing it and you just want to squeeze that next level out like a true pro.... most people here dont run c02

I understand its all very very exciting.... hell i had the same thoughts and feelings... but one step at a time.... focus on growing a nice healthy plant in your current setup. Then learn how to upgrade it to a larger level (lights/plant count/scrogs)

My first grow was in miracle grow soil and was not very good. The people here helped me get them straight then i started step by step dialing in my process and learning from others along with trial and error...

Now my tents look like this..

not trying to get ahead of myself, but i've been reading and researching a lot (this forum and others). Made a mistake on soil but i think everything else is going pretty ok, gonna keep going with tang schedule and see how they turn up. Already have another soil for the next batch to try out, till i find the correct one.

Another 400w hps made me think that it could give me a greater yield at the end, do u agree? I'm asking because i've the things to do it but i don't want to if it doesn't improve anything.

Yes, TECHNICALLY if you get your next grow right then 800w of light has the potential to produce more than 400 in the same area.

Its also true 1 healthy plant under a 400 will produce more than 6 unhealthy plants under 2 suns

Then i'll keep on leaf tucking and maybe opening them up a bit, got a few pipe cleaners coming soon too (everything is in one order) :smoking:

Gonna research if i can harm them in any way if i keep feeding them with an nutes.
You can LST them.

You can LST them.
I'm thinking about opening them up a bit, dont really know if i should bend the main stem or not since the canopy is pretty even. At least for now, maybe they grow a lot in the upcoming weeks and an opportunity to bend them presents.

also, what do u think about this leaf on one of my girls?

It may be they run low on Ca.
Feed some calmag.

:toke: MrChok-- Hmm late in the game here, but I'll diagnose as best I can,... firstly, the plants with color break in the leaves are badly faulted, more so than the usual ones with similar color break, this is affecting tissues growth as well,.. in the future, $$ painful as it is, be prepared to cull such lousy seedlings, and maybe let the breeder know....
.... whatever that soil is, and what all is in it, it's not working well with the AN; this is a conflict with what's amended into that soil, and what's going in from the AN,.. you have severe N-toxicity happening, and need to change up the blending of the nutrients... I dislike AN for several reasons (not a bad product mind you, per se),.. too many bottles, tied to each other for complete nutrition, and when you need to make a radical adjustment, it becomes problematic.. you stop using certain parts of their damn program, and you can end up shorted of certain nute elements, which may in turn, cause a deficiency issue... I don't use them at all, so I don't know the NPK values of all the damn bottles needed,... from what I can gather though, you likely can lean more heavily on the bloom formulations now, since you have too much N going in, and the plants are clawing like crazy,... feed schedules are a suggestion, not cast in stone,... Tangs, A-train's,.. they have other factors tied to those schedules, particularly the medium grown in, and in A-trains case, other nutrients/supplements as well; you can't duplicate a grow by just following a schedule, too many other influencing factors,... I don't see any signs of pH issues fortunately,... I see what looks to be a little Ca defc. starting (likely linked to the N-tox') and I know AN Ca-Mg product has waaaaay too much N in it, so an alternate source is needed,...
Yes, too much N by late bloom and harvest will make the bud taste crappy,.. but you have a long way to go before that, so worry about that later,... first, a shift to bloom nutes to reduce the N is needed,... too much N during bloom will ruin the buds for sure!

Thanks for stopping by Sir. Can't thank enough for the diagnosis given, trully appreciate it man.

Glad i just finished with Voodoo Juice and will keep feeding just Sensi Bloom for a week or two, then plan to add carboload and big bud and see how the plant reacts to it.

I already have a different type of soil ready to go for my next batch, i know i definitly fucked up there.

U think that this nitrogen issue will go away now that i'm not feeding that much N or do i need to tackle it somehow?
Also, what do you recommend i do if i can't find a cal-mag bottle? Dolomite? Or is there any method u can apply quickly to adjust Cal or Mag?

Gonna try to find a source of cal-mag without nitrogen to use.

Thanks bro! :pass::smoking:

.... it won't reverse, no.... N is one of those nutrient elements that the plant takes up whether it needs it or not, it's automatic,.. prob's come when the amount exceeds what it can use and store,..
... I know you're in a country that resources are difficult to find,... if you can order online, General Hydroponics/Organics has Ca-mg products that are low N,... otherwise, molasses (unsulfered) can do in a pinch, about 8ml/L dosage,... dolomite is much too slow, that's a pre-planting amendment... might be that reducing the N inputs will help too,.... Oh! Look at the Carboload and Big Bud for Ca content,... you can skip the molasses if they have Ca in them,...

Just checked Big Bud and Carboload, neither of them have Cal nor Nitrogen so hopefully from now on it'll improve regarding N values.
I might just buy a Calcium bottle from an unknown brand and see how it goes. It was already hard to get the AN nutes and no growshop here sells a big-brand cal-mag.

Do u think i should try a bottle from an unknown brand or do nothing about the calcium issue?

Thanks again bro, you've been very specific, really appreaciate it. Will update with new pics later to show how the girls are doing.
