Indoor SR, LD, Diemos, ID/AK-R LED/CFL DWC

1x Feminized Diemos
1x Feminized Exodus Cheese

Started these seeds a little while ago they are just starting to really come up now, the Snowryder is up and is doing great, ID/AK-R 2 is up and starting to open its seed leaves, ID/AK-R 1 has its root tip out of the shell in the rockwool and should be up soon. the Diemos is starting to break ground today as well as the Exodus Cheese. and the La Diva is above ground and starting to open her seed leaves as well once all are above ground and open I will post pics, they are being run in my box under a 90W LED and a dozen 23w CFLs. They are being grown in my DWC/spray unit together for now the Exodus cheese will eventually be moved out when I change to bloom nutes for the others or when the others need room.

nutrients being used will be the technaflora recipie for success system as well as SuperThrive and Hygrozyme, durring the bloom cycle I will also be using Foxfarms Open Sesame, ChaChing and Beastie Bloomz .

Ahh, it has begun!! How would you rate rock wool for seed starting? I want to use it for my hempy grow that's starting soon.

I love my rockwool plugs they are great, I wont use anything else for starting seeds for hydro. They give great air and water availability and hold large quantities of both due to thier fiberglass like structure and are completely inert. Also you can plant a rockwool cube into soil or any other medium without shock to the plant as long as it hasnt put roots out of the cube by the time of transplant.

yup.... soak in ph 5.0 for 24 hours... rockwool is at 8.0 from the factory... unless its been prebuffered... grodan sometimes is pre-buffered.

mine must be prebuffered as I never had to do anything and its ph was a neutral 7 when I got it, I run 5.8 ph constant, or try to lol, so it dropped pretty quick from 7 to match the nute solution it was getting hit with. good info though, definitly something to concider.
