Grow Room Spanglish´s 1L Air-Pot Grows

Day 27

The attempted FIM turned out to be a topping and has stunted her a bit, and now veg is coming to a end with the stretch slowing already and flowers and frost appearing at her limited bud sites, this has taught me two things about growing in small pots:

1) Veg period is reduced greatly when growing in limited space and the onset of flowering is quicker, this is great for getting them to show sex quicker and finish up quicker, the negative seems to be due to the space veg is a couple of weeks plus 5-7 days stretch and thats it, so would say if you are in a small pot looking to transplant you would want them in the bigger pot as soon as they show sex and before stretch has started which only seems to be a period of a couple of days.

2) You don't want to try any type of training that will slow growth at all in small pots due to this even more limited than average veg period, topping for sure is out and i reckon FIMing wont be much better for the same reason, tieing, bending,tucking and defoliation seem a better way to go.

Should get one half decent cola from her and the second looks to be a ball of bud on a stick unless it shows some stretch in the next couple of days, that with the four lowers that are getting decent light is about it, reckon will be on bloom feeds by Day 30 if no more vertical growth is seen but so far 0.5cm in the last 2 days compared to 1cm a day for the past few, so she looks to be a Canna-Bonsai at 10.5cm (4.1") so far but already looking to be a stinky and frosty girl with trichs starting to pop on sugar leaves and a few fans, and a ridiculously strong sweet/citrus smell for such a small girl .

Think you have got the right thinking there Ducky mate. lollypop the shit out of a small pot girl at the end of the stretch and leave one big fat cola with all the lowers bar a couple removed and see what happens there, bit late for it on this grow now but think thats what i am going to try on the next girl i run in a 1L pot, bit annoyed with myself about the cut really as after the last 1L grow was starting to think about the a lot more limited veg period on my small pot grows and the importance of not stunting them in the slightest, but nothing ventured nothing gained and have learnt a lesson for the future when it comes to my small pot autos.

Day 35

I was right and vertical growth stopped a few days back at a huge lol 11.5cm (4.5") on Day 30, have introduced PK booster starting today and increased bloom nutes, have also pulled the grow back a little and this will be her standard bloom feed for the next week.

She is going to be another fast finisher in the 50-60 day mark, just a shame a stunted her as that is going to have a big affect on yield, but what is there looks to be good getting frosty already and with the extra PK Boost should start to swell nicely and look like nugs by next week.

Cool looking plant! Reminds me of my White Widow that I tried to top in a 1-liter air-pot. One of my smallest yielding but highest quality plants.

Day 43

Not much to report really she is frosty up like crazy and the buds are starting to take shape nicely, another couple of weeks of chunking up and she should be ready for the picking, not going to be much but like the looks of what there is
Have backed of the grow and algamic and started to push with more bloom and PK, will be cutting all grow out soon and a few days of extra strength bloom and PK before a few days of plain water coming up to the chop.

Cheers pal, even though small there is something i like about her and looks to be some tasty smoke, better be as hand feeding twice a day is really starting to piss me off to the stage that till i get a suitable space and some kind of drip setup this is gonna be my last small pot grow.

Day 55

She is eating well into her fans now and pistils are dying back,trichs are mostly clear with a few cloudy here and there so i reckon she will good for the chop next week, will be done by Wednesday as am out of town for a few days after that so will continue to feed plain water till 24hrs before the chop.

As already mentioned by @Iamlegend2121 smells just like a skunky grapefruit, not long now and will be tasting her
