So I figured I need a place to document my on going struggle to get a auto strain that is acclimated to my area. I'm going in to season six the seeds are f7s. I will pick the best looking guys and girls to mate. Right now they are under a 400 and a 600. Will go in to my 10x20 greenhouse in a week or so. They are planted in 20 oz cups the tiered with the bottom 2 or 3 inches is a tlo. The soil I used for the seed starter was sunshine number 4 from home depot (which had some kinda larvae that eat some of the seeds. I sprayed the soil twice with a light dose of Azatrol. Also I feed them a little kelp also.

Hi tobe.....
Yeah I'm going for a good selection... Last year I found a 5 or 6 foot male in my selection. The genetics are........ I started this 5 years ago. Some low rider. And some stitch genetics in their. Not completely sure to be honest. I didn't keep track of what I was doing. In the beginning I used a climate controlled room to get the plants use to colder temps.... Then I started making seeds outside. I'm hoping I have seeds that are accumulated to my area, if so then take those seeds and breed with my favor photos for different flavors.... Not sure if that is the way to go or not. I may try crossing other autos and see what happens.

Makes sence. Guess thats what I have been doing. Last two summers they were pretty nice plants. Something like 2- 2.5 ft but have seen 5-6 ft show it self in the seeds. Nice big colas. I'm hoping to take these seeds and breed with other strains to get different flavors? I did add mi5 in to the mix when they came out. They seemed like a good fit. I still in fact have some of the original mi5 seeds in the little package. Was thinking of trying those in my new greenhouse this summer.

Hey Sourdough
I take a small research about train the strain for a cold climatic. At first do the cross for the flavors you want if they are stabilized you can start with the training. If you train first and then cross in other genetics you have to restart over a few generations.
i hope it helps with you project.

Hey tobe. I hear ya about crossing afterward. But I'm hoping using these as a base autoflower genes and cross with photos, From there work the plants outside till I get what I like..... Or I hope....we will see. Lol
