So I decided to abandon the pollinating the mangos this round as I felt the male was taking toooooooo long to drop pollen.

Honestly with how hard this station has been to dial in it might ba blessing in disguise. ..lol...good I can save mine. It's lost a few days. ...maybe a week lol. Going to have to see what happens.

That was part of my decision. Any time I come across a harder to grow variety or a longer maturing variety, I take it into consideration whether I want to continue growing it. Other factors (smell, taste, potency) will sometimes outweigh the negatives, sometimes not. In this case I decided against it since the girl I have more advanced in flower(but still not at your flowering stage) is kind of late in my opinion for pollination and I don't want to promote a later triggering trait in the bigger, but less flowering fem with the slow dropping male.

Yeah if the traits don't match what you want then you would probably b wasting a lot of time and money on keeping the line going and dialed in. After hearing that, which I didn't even think about, I think u made a wise decision bud!

Alright Day 45:

The big mango just keeps getting bigger...flowering slowly but surely!

Thanks man! Yeah the big one is turning into a monster! If I wasn't tilting the pot 45 degrees I don't even know if she would fit in the cab anymore! In hindsight I wish I would have done standard training, but the leaned back approach of the tilt training is working really well, plus it adds an additional benefit of a quicker drying out period on the non airpot(transplanted her into the non airpot, before I realized it was a non airpot....lol) The intake fan blowing on her soil means she dries out even faster than the DIY airpots. Since this is the case and she is a bit nute sensitive, I will be implementing a straight water into the routine every 5 waterings or so.
Hopefully the flush gets you back on track!

Not familiar with roots 707. Its soil?

Yeah its organic mix. Magic, trapper and ronin use it. Easy to veg for 4 maybe 5 weeks than stay aging small amounts of organic nutes. My busy at the grow shop gave it to me for free. It's a really big and expensive bag lol so I want to see what it's about. I have atoofless alien that's saying I wanna try! I wanna try lol and fire 7 bucks I can get 3 8oz peons of their product to try so im ordering that tonight. ..that sick at getting back at emails though lol aurora themselves (the company that makes it)

Well if trapper, magic and ronin are using it, it must be a fantastic medium!! I love the idea of 4-5 weeks with nothing to do but water. Much simpler than the AN route!

I believe ronin adds micros to feed the soil so I'm thinking voodoo juice will still b in good need for me. Or something equivalent at least. ...I think about 4 weeks is time to add nutes. I'm going to wander through some of their threads and see how they use the stuff.
