Indoor Sour 60 and Blue Streak seed run

11 April 2011

Day 28

Both plants given 250ml of 770PPM GH Maxi Bloom, the larger fan leaves that were earlier affected are continuing to yellow but I am not surprised at all.

Well they are still growing and compared to how they looked the other day they are better, to look at the pictures you would not think so!

What are peoples thoughts on me repotting the two females into 4.5 litre pots (current=2 litre) this far into the grow?
I have a bag of composted soil (25L), perlite and dolomite lime available.....

You might stunt them. imo. They are close to that point where your going to effect yield now.

If your PH it not out. They are just looking for some N I think. That is a pretty even yellowing. A good number of strains require N until mid flower.
The sour60`s i have are hungry ones. I am on 17 ml per 4ltrs of Calmax and 20ml per 4ltr of Alaskan fish fert. There are 2 or 3 that could even use a bit more.. But i am farther along in flower so i am a bit reluctant to mega dose them. Hungry bunch these sour60`s are.

Not really concerned about yield, more concerned about keeping them alive.

Day 39 (Soil) / Day 22 (Day 11 transplant)

The other four:

Everything watered with 1540 PPM GH MaxiBloom
Both females still look sick and have and overall yellow look to them.
Nothing I try now seems to be making much of a difference.

The other four plants had an accident two days back, as I was carrying them into the kitchen I stumbled a bit and dropped them on the floor, sadly I did not take a picture as I was more worried about fixing the plants.
But they seem to be going ok again, so far one BS is a female, the rest unknown.

So overall it is all pretty sad looking.

P.H is fine, 6.5 in, 6.5 out
Calibrated P.H meter, used P.H test drops to compare with pen, looks good to me.

27 April 2011

Day 44 (Soil) / Day 27 (transplant)

Last S60 binned as it turned out to be another male.
So far from six S60 and six BS I have gotten one S60 and three BS females, very poor m/f ratio on the S60.

The two older females have been watered with 1400PPM GH MaxiBloom, now for a couple of pictures of sick plants :p

This grow is going to end soon :(
The fungus gnats have hit hard and the plants are really struggling, it's not pretty to see fungus gnat larvae coming out the drain holes.
Chalking this grow up to a lesson in pest control and management.

yeah, sorry to hear... you need more nitrogen on those... yellowing from the bottom up... nitrogen is mobile... transports to new leaves... but theres no new to replace....

hope this helps next grow.
