Indoor Sour 60 and Blue Streak seed run

TY John, so far so good, and no watering with drool yet :p

And now a question for those that know ... how much of a potency hit will I take from doing a seed run?

24 March 2011

And the drama’s begin :(
Two of the Blue Streak have a strange yellowing in the edge of a leaf, on one plant it is very distinct (see images below), on the other affected plant it is occurring on one of the new leaves and is pretty hard to see.
There was no sign of this yesterday when I watered.
Any ideas?

Verigated Albino?

It looks healthy to me. If it was some thing you did, it would be on more than one leaf.

Edit:
I make some beans every round, the top half of the plant is nice and potent. I get a few hundred seeds as well.

I'm with Bailer... looks like an Albino trait dropping her panties briefly as a tease... :)

It’s a boy :)
One of the S60 has decided that on its 12th day of life it would let its nuggets hang out, was not expecting that to happen this early on. But pictures don’t lie:

So far it is the only plant to show sex, all I need now is a BS male and at least one each S60 and BS female.

Group shot:

And the strange yellowing is still there but has not spread, the other affected plant (both BS) has only a very small spot but will get a picture of it one day.

27 March 2011

Day 13 and we have two more boys, another S60 and a BS male.
So now I have at least one of each S60 and BS male that I was after, now I need some females that are willing to have unprotected sex.
So the count is 3 males and 5 unknown.

iLean, this one S60 has refused to stand up and has had this lean going, its annoyed me enough to fix it:

And all this excitement made me go find some other bits I am now seriously thinking of putting to use. But doing so could cause space issues in a few weeks.
4 x 1 gallon DWC:

I just wanted to make sure I didn't put a negative spin on this, or to seem like I'm bombing your idea or creativity. You may have an insight that I do not have to your grow.
What are all your thoughts on your DWC system and how are you planning to curve; or do you not think with your strain or grow technique that these problems will arise?

4 x 1 gallon dwc, are they linked together? If not, wouldn't there be higher probability of big nute and ph swings when the plants start pulling up to half gallon a piece a day when they hit that spurt and into flower. (Maybe not, if you can keep them bellow 10 inches. [problem solving thought])
*I'm only writing from one grow and the challenges that I see with my autos. You may or probably do know way more than me. Or if you are like me you will see this as another challenge to overcome and come up with an easy solution to do it how you think is best and make it work for you.

I expect many problems will arise since this current grow is my first "AutoFlower" grow ever, so I really dont know how they will go in soil let alone DWC.
I do however have some experience using the 4 x 1 gallon DWC and the problems it has, and yes they are separate containers and can be total bitches to keep happy sometimes.
Another plus reason for me to do this is that I intend to rebuild my cupboard and some of the new dimensions will be based on the current grow, so some DWC data would be helpful there also.
And there is the "Because I can" excuse :)

28 March 2011

Day 14 and another BS male popped, so now it’s four males (2xBS and 2xS60) and four unknown. I need to get two of each female now or my plan will be mostly out the window, there is the DWC option to prospect for females.

In case I need it the DWC is setup and running but no plants in them, as yet the final decision has not been made.
