New Grower some help about cooling please..

i think setting up another fan could just negate opening another intake, if you have too much negative pressure inside the tent then it will slow itself down so you will have a vacuum instead of more movement, id say open another intake but do it without the fan first atleast anwyay and then if that doesnt get air moving mroe then maybe try putting that other fan as an intake. just sounds like too much negative pressure to me, i have something similar happening to me atm with a new fan.

it might not be too much negative pressure.
happy testing anyway

The size of your passive intake will not really help you figure things out.
Depending on the size of your exhaust fan, you may need to open up another passive intake or put an intake fan on the tent.
Looking at the sides of your tent is a pretty good indicator of negative pressure, but you don't need a ton of it.
The reason for wanting negative pressure in the tent is too insure that the odor all goes out through your filter and that the odor doesn't leak out through your passive intake.
Again it doesn't take much negative pressure at all to accomplish that.
So if a person is not using a carbon filter or other odor controlling methods, negative pressure is not really a concern.
If you have additional zippered intakes portals that you can open without having to cut on the tent, try that.
I added a small computer fan to my intake portal as I did not want to cut another hole into my box, and i wanted the additional air circulation it provided the box.

hey what's up? well, i tried a bunch of things yesterday. i opened many different diameter extra intakes to see what's happening and i understood that the circulation is best with only the one passive 150 mm intake.. so today i'm going to set an extra fan. i will put it as an intake. is it better to make a seconf intake with a 120mm fan or to buy a 150mm for my big intake?(it's currently passive but it's working well as i said before.)

My preference would be to use passive intake when you can.
The reason being one less thing to go wrong.
If you are relying on the intake fan to keep your tent cool, then if it stops for some reason (murphys law) then your temps will shoot up possibly causing you a setback.
Passive intake solves that.
