hey. i recently bought a CF Rhino 125mm 300 m3. i'm currently at the limit with temps unfortunately (80-84/ 27-29c). so when i connect CF with my fan (rvk 325 m3) power falls almost at half... it's like the fan is working at 200 m3. very big difference. i knew that this was going to happen but not this much.. i also use a cool tube but without extra fan. i use my inline to pull air through cool tube and tent together.. so i tried these ways to set them up.

1) filter pulling air(inside the tent)----inline fan---duct---cool tube---duct and outside the tent
2)filter pulling air(inside the tent)----duct---cool tube---duct---inline fan---duct and outside the tent.
3)cool tube pulling from one side----duct----inline---duct and outside the tent---CF pushing air out of the tent not pulling.(this was the worst)

everytime it was almost the same... what else can i do?

What kind of lights are you using? You might need another fan close to the top of the tent pulling hot air out,but make sure you have some opening for fresh air to enter the tent.

my lights are 400 WATT hps. intake passive through a duct 150mm. the exhaust duct is 120mm. i added a second fan yesterday (60 cfm) but it wasn't helping at all.actually it wasn't pulling air almost at all. though when i was closing the main inline and working only the small one, was pulling fine. so i guess it has something to do with my pressures inside the tent? i also have 2 circulating clip fans 6 inches and 3 pc fans inside tent for circulation too

Maybe you might have to open the door some for more fresh air its hard to say without being there.

i can add another intake duct. it's not problem. if it;s going to help. i'm kind of cumfused with the negative pressure rules in the room. i know that intake has to be equal or bigger from the output.. in my example i have 150 mm intake and 125 mm exhaust. and i am fine with this. but when i add the second fan (125mm) it's not working.do you think if i add another will work?

can you pull cold air through your intake from a window or something?
if outside temps are too cold you could have one intake from a window and one from room temp.
you should be able to get enough intake with just the vacuum created by the main fan unless you have a huge tent.
maybe your cf is blocked somehow if its utting your pressure that much. maybe just give ti a shake,
i would go cf>fan>duct>cooltube>out

my intake duct pulls air from my balcony through a window... the outside temps this season are pretty high here.. it can reaxh up to 30-31c at day and at nights is 20-25c. this is the temp from the air that comes in...

i have another 2 things to test. first to connect an extra budget fan for cool tube and leave the inline pulls air only from the filter.. the second i can do is open another 120 mm intake and use the budget fan as a second exhaust. this case the bigger inline fan will pull air from filter and cool tube and the second the smaller from the tent only.. but in this case the second fan will be pushing unfiltered air outside the tent

:help::help::help::help:

those temps cant be helping anyway, if you have AC thats cooler maybe scrap the window and just pull from indoors and just vent out. having a second exhuast might just slow it down aswell with more negative pressure, though im not sure. its worth a shot anyway. do the sides of your tent suck in a bit when sealed? just to know if you have negative pressure or a CF thats losing you so many cfms.
good luck

Does everything work OK if you have the tent door open a little? It sounds like there are two fans competing for too little intake air. Also, any turns in your ducting, intake or exhaust, will decrease airflow, as will excess length.

hey guys.. tnx for the support.
currently i run one fan that pulls air via the cool tube outside the tent.... when i added the CF i had only the main fan also. the sides of my tent get sucked enough i would say.

i'm going to give this a try. i will set the second fan too but i will open another one intake... thank God i made some prayers and the weather dropped some degrees down these days so i have time to do my tests..
