I will plant only one seed in a 3 gallon air pot in a Mars 3X3X4ft tent with a 6in clip-on fan for circulation and a 6in carbon filter/fan combo for extraction. I am going to try and be legal (first time in 60 years) and only grow 4 plants. I have have three plants in another tent. Fox Farm nutes and soil, 3 parts happy frog and one part ocean forest, 1/2 to 1/3 cup lime and a half quart perlite. Lights are cheap Kingleds, the cob has no name and came with 80% red (paid for full spectrum). Got no reply to my e-mails. Had two of the burples but one took a crap after first grow. This is day one. I forgot to set the time/date on a few pics, sorry.

I had a small problem. I went to water the plant at 10 days, and when I turned to place the plant on my washing machine I tripped over my own feet and dropped the plant on top of the seedling. I replanted the seedling and thought maybe I should just start over. I didn't start over and other than being a bit shorter than I think it should be, so far...so good.

The plant is doing well and has really spread. It still is shorter than the plants in my other tent were at this stage, by about 3-4 inches. Since one of the main parents is trans siberian (auto seeds) I guess a short plant was in the cards from the beginning. I know that plant was strong but small, sucker punch is medium and strong so whatever I think I will be happy.

Day 38 and there has been some good vertical growth, she is almost 18". Started bloom nutes and turned on the bloom lights in the burple and I expect vertical growth to stop in about 5 days. There is still a good chance the plant will reach 24", but I also expect to pay a price for dropping the seedling.

Day45 and vertical growth has just about stopped and the plant is right at 26 inches. Bud sites are starting to really show and I am having high hopes for this girl. I am really glad I started buying my seeds from Green Grass Seeds. I have had 100% germination (soak, poke and pray method) since I started using them. So far I have grown six different plants from two breeders (twisted tree & sofem) and am well satisfied with yield and smoke. Hit the girl with 10ml/gal sledgehammer to help stop lock-out, color looks good.

The plant has finally stopped vertical growth at just over 30 inches but no visible resin yet. I guess the plant just took off a week or so because I dropped it. Day 52 is longer than any other plant has gone for me in almost 10 years of growing. The plant looks good and the bud sites are going well. I will move this plant over to my 2X4X7ft tent so I can start my first photo grow, gorilla glue #4.

Day 60 and buds are looking good. Resin is starting to be visible so maybe three weeks more. One of these days I will stop being lazy and cheap. I keep buying these cheap ph meters (yellow one) and the last three grows they won't even make it through a whole grow without going out of calibration. I got one that seems to be better. Can anyone suggest a good meter for under $50? The style on the right sucks. The other cost about $20 but I want a backup.

Unfortunatly thats part of the game. I have 2 BlueLabs pens and both require frequent recalibration. I actually wish something would flash to let you know it might be out. Im just going to make it a point to recalibrate the same time i switch from veg to bloom. pH being off almost bit me in the ass again during my current grow.

Well the harvest went alright but smoke is not as good as it could have been and the plant just looked too ugly to take a pic of. These are two autos I started late January. Another SOFEM grow, left is fruity patootie (blood lemon skunk & UK skunk) and right is a sample of pandora fire (pandora gas & blood temple kush). Three gallon air pots, FP is 28 inches PF is 22 inches and vertical growth has almost stopped, I think, but the FP might have one or two inches left. Yield for the FP looks like it will be like most SOFEM grows I have done, 60-80 gr dry but the sample pandora fire looks to be less than 60 gr dry. We will see. Very easy to grow, so far.
