Outdoor Smokey's 2020 Grow - Summer- Autumn Winter

All looking good smokey , and ya can keep ya cold weather
Thanks Hecno ! Lol true much warmer up Northern QLD, days are okay around 20 -22c,:woohoo1:Still can grow here but keep them undercover at night some autos went purple lol from the cold i guess, looks nice though lol

---------------

cloudy to the east this morning so the T5s might be in action till the cloud burns off, forecast is mostly sunny 22c

:nono: Bit of a shock last night, my brothers and I checked out some of the Big Bud and Super Skunk buds, from the older Autos, and seeds in the bud, worried me, hope someone is not growing around here, a few new peeps have moved in, or the sickly purple punch ( all leave hardly any bud) hermie and did the others.

:nono: page 13, the awesome run is going through some issues, not sure what. Since the big girls are droopy or wilty. I water every 2nd day - 2.6gal (10L) always adding some suppliment, whether this is the issue i am not sure, the top dries so i water, it feels like a spongy mat, so a few roots i am thinking.? flipping to bloom maybe, its normal. Its not set time if home late its 6pm- 8am or exampel 5.15pm 7:15pm , around the same time always.

Liberty Haze - not herself - :dang: 1.2 m (4ft)

Super Lemon Haze, - shes about the same, seen better days (2 largest and bushiest plants - slight droopy/wilty look) (1.1meter apporx 4ft)
P1260096.JPG

Durban is the same as always - open, very thick at base of trunk over the other girls

Bubba Kush - she seems normal 80c high x 1m wide

Hey Smokey I thought you were going to put something under the pots to catch the run off?

What the humidity there? Is it dry air. Even though it's raining?

Hey GTG, Thanks Bro, i forgot about that, have to check the hardware, i sometimes put them on the plastic drop sheet, the think the carts let the water go away though i do little bits at a time.

Its pretty dry around 47%

That's dry... Need some catch trays under them pot to hold some water. So they can slurp some over time.
Feeding is a good thing while watering. It is a a balancing act for you right now. You'll have to pay attention and figure it out I may have to water more than once a day even in small increments still not over water. Keep notes keep track keep thinking about what you got to do to keep the plants healthy. While you go through these phases..

Thanks GTG, she is heavy her pot though Liberty Haze. They tray, must get one at bunnings, i am thinking of a cheap tarp to just cut up a bit to patch the windows at night lol. I think in summer watering would be 2 x a day for sure here. or top up the tray. I guess i got this over watering fear Certainly is, Super Lemon Haze is looking better though she a bit lighter in the pot after watering over Liberity Haze, maybe her mix isnt as airy , though the pots would be impossible to over water though

excell grow diary of mine - some silly notes lol could be in it

:bighug:Smokey mate, wow what a forest of Haze! :d5:
I got you PM,... Let me confirm, is this dropping starting just before sundown? If so, that's a common response, though I've not found out what's behind it,.. mine do the same thing, but it tends to stop during bloom...
If not, next thing is a water issue... you heft the pots all the time I figure, the weight is a big clue about how well moistened the soil is,... If a dry out happened, soil can be bitchy to rehydrate, patchy dry spots can form....and those side slits may let water out before it can soak in,... They have a huge amount of transpiration surface area in that canopy of leaves, and the pots are solid roots by now I wager, so drying out can happen bloody fast even if it's cool-ish... Did I mention using a wetting agent before, yucca or something else? I use that weekly, just to keep the surface soil from crusting up from drying, that and some light surface raking to bust up that surface layer....
....Over watering seems less likely, but if they got really soaked and stayed that way for days, some rot is a distinct possibility,... nothing to do there about that really,...
All that said, you my friend are spanking this grow! Those big girls are very nice, well grown, and are going to bury you in buds! This transition stage and bloom is the tricky part, shifting nute needs, pots/roots are getting stuffed making for fast changes in things,... Whatever you have for a micronutrient source, keep on that along with humic-fulvics, remember most of the micro's are immobile, steady low level supply is what works best... h-f's will help chelate them and keep them available,... Boron is a major player here, so is Si, they are facilitators to all the other nutes transport and metabolism, so they can become bottlenecks if deficient. Actual defc. may not show in the leaves right away, but it will still slow down the whole train!
