How you guys do it? I mix one part soil to one part water @ 7.0pH, let it sit 30min. Stir then test. I also heard one part soil to two parts water. Which is more accurate? And I am going to take a sample from my problem pot to test. When is the best time to take the sample? When the pot is more dry or more wet or somewhere in the middle? I water @ 6.9 as it will drift down to 6.4pH(what soil is buffered @) as it dries. Or does it matter at all? I don't trust runoff readings. My next girls are in part coco and I heard runoff is not an accurate way to test coco.
