I've been growing a year now, and my plants have been in FF Ocean Forest. It's decent soil, but as we all know, the pH values can be a roller coaster ride. I made the decision to switch to Pro-Mix HP and have that product ready to go.

I just did an outdoor auto harvest so I have time to do one more grow before the season gets too cool. One will be a Blue Dream auto and the other is a Tangie'matic. I'll plant them in 5G fabric containers after starting them in rapid rooters held in solo cups by Light Warrior starter soil. I use Advanced Nutrients and have a good supply of Micro-Grow-Bloom so I don't plan to switch off of this lineup.

My question is how often to feed nutes since I'll be also be needing to water frequently during these hot days. On the plants I just finished in OF, I fed once or twice a week, but they were bone dry daily and wilting so I had to water them with plain pH'd water knowing the OF had some nutrients in the soil. Pro-mix wont have this organic element, so I'm trying to figure how to water and feed w/o over feeding the plants.

If anyone grows outside in a climate that is like mine (SC) in Pro-Mix in containers, I sure wish you'd help me get started the right way. THANKS!!!!

I've got 2 plants outside under a greenhouse that are in 15 gallon fabric pots with Promix BX with extra perlite added. I have been feeding them 4 gallons of nutrient water every other day. I'm using a 1/2 tsp of GH Maxigrow per gallon of water. I have not PH'ed the water at all ans the plants are doing fine so far. I just put them under a net last weekend as they were getting to tall, LOL

Your plants are GORGEOUS! I love your setup too - so neat and clean.

The greenhouse shade probably reduces the need for daily watering unlike mine in full sun that will be a daily watering need. I do have a fabric sunscreen that I drape over the "tomato" cages which helps to prevent sun scald. But you have given me a good idea in that I'll feed one day - water the next - feed the next and so on. I think the EOD feeding plan works with nutes like the AN line I'm using. Many thanks!!

BTW - what strain is that? It looks like it may have a good amount of Sativa in it?

One is Purple Queen and the other in Bubba Kush CBD. The Bubba Kush is in preflower.
