Mephisto Genetics Seymourbud's Soapbox

Thanks @TheHorns , glad to have you along for the ride. As the Allman Brothers have said before me, "...the road goes on forever...".

My philosophy on life is a relatively new thing for me, corporate life almost killed me, literally.
Made me take a step back and re-evaluate what is important in life for me.
So, I am going to try this new path for a minute and see if it agree's with me more then my previous style.

And the biggest plus out of all of this change, no more random drug tests hanging over my head.

Good Morning to all AFN'ers, got another update my girls. The Strawberry Nuggets is at 63 days, and she now a very distinctive sour strawberry smell to her. Really nice genetics, like I have said before Mephisto + BOG = win for all. Haven't run the 24 Carats yet, but based on the current run of SN, I am very anxious to get one going. I ran a Bogglegum mother for a number of years, and she was just the perfect fire for my small circle. I only gave her up when I decided to simplify life and not keep a continuous grow. Would love to see the Bogglegum turned into auto after seeing what magic mephisto has performed with other BOG genetics. Sorry for the ramble...

Pulled the scope out this morning, and she is showing some milky heads, but no amber as of yet. My guess for when I think she will be done is day 75, or about 10-12 days from now. She is really starting to swell, and I think the final numbers might be higher then I first thought a few weeks back. I am really surprised that a plant this small can pack on the buds, and they are dense as well. Opening up this plant and allowing the inner buds multiple weeks of good light has really pay dividends. But the regardless of numbers, she will be great meds,I can just tell. My plan is to start another SN seed in the next week to replace this one. Got to see what the green pheno is all about. In addition, for those wondering, she appears to be a low odor plant during growing. Not to say she doesn't smell awesome, but she doesn't overwhelm the grow area when the doors are open and she is out of the cabinet. So her she is at day 63...

Day 54 for the Menage a Tyrone x Double Grape , and she is really getting LOUD. Door closed, and variac on the carbon filter/fan at 35% was not cutting it as the whole house began to stink. So I have upped the variac to 50% and she is once again unnoticeable. She is really stacking nicely, and the yellowing has either dramatically decreased or just stopped. I have adjusted her nutes to about 50% of what the sour crack and strawberry nuggets are getting at their same age. The SC and SN are loving life, but this girl just balks at the extra nute load. I can't complain as she is really looking nice and has a nice open airy structure. She stand more then a foot taller then the SC and SN, but the versatility of @BigSm0 autocobs make the job of adjusting light height to a singular plant eazy peazy. I think she will go 75-80 days, so at least another 3 more weeks for her to go. Now onto the pictures...

Final update of the day, the little runt Sour Crack (at day 42) that I came close to culling because she didn't germ in first 6 days. Well, she finally did pop her head up out of the soil, and now she is a lovely looking plant that I can't wait to taste as I have heard very good thing about Mephisto Sour Crack. Mephisto has said she is fastest plant in the stable of genetics, and I would agree with that as she has gone from spindly seedling to small, but thick indica bush. I have done some LST'ing with her, not as much as the Strawberry Nuggets needed, but she seems more center cola dominant then the SN. I think the plant will very shortly begin to add weight, as I believe she is about 10 days behind where she should be due to my negligence early on. So I expect her to be 70-75 days, or another four weeks. Can't smell her too much as the Menage a Tyrone x Double Grape right now is overwhelming everything, so not sure how fragrant she really is. Let's go to picture time....

Always an awesome haul from mephisto. I figure if you get a 200 dollar system and get an ounce per seed on your grow, you succeeded. Grow blue toof it is an amazing strain. Very nice relaxing and enjoyable with others

Gotten quite a few Blue Toof Special's in the previous two orders. Lots of positive chatter going on about them. Going to work one in before the end of year shutdown.
