Good Morning, Chop Day in da SBud house!!!!!

Chop Day - TTG Twisted Menagerie - Day 74

So TTG lists this plant as 72-80 days seed to harvest. At day 74, she is about 30% amber. I don't think I could have let her go any longer without some degradation of thc. Her makeup is NYC Diesel x Grape Stomper, and she has been worked to F3. Heavy indica effect, perfect for nighttime. Hmmmm, we shall see. She is LOUD! Not so much while she was growing, but as I was cleaning up after chop completion, she had invade all spaces within 20 feet. The aroma, diesel/gas with a bit of skunkiness. But after you touch her, there is an intense deep grape candy smell, obviously from the Grape Stomper in her makeup. She was a bit under my average plants for my grow style and container, as she only managed 49 grams dry (estimated) after the wet trim. While her buds were thick and crusted, they were not so dense. Typical main cola with lesser satellite branching, very little lesser bud as she did not have many fan leaves, and ate many of the fans up prior to chop. A very easy trim, as there wasn't a whole lot of sugar leaves. She was a joy to look at as she was a lighter shade of green due to all her frostiness. I am looking forward to tasting her in a few weeks to see if I move forward with hitting TM with some Anvil pollen. I like the quickness of her cycle (74 days), a bit underwhelmed with her final output. So the quality of the meds will definitely be a deciding factor on whether I move forward with the Anvil project.

Tomorrow I expect to chop Nova OG, which is an F5 Canadian Nova OG x Breeding Auto. Supposedly another heavy indica possibly worthy of being thrown into the Anvil chucking.

Nice work, mate!:greenthumb:

Good Afternoon, it has been 9 days since I last posted that the very next day I would chop TTG Nova OG. However, after doing a more thorough scoping of the buds, I decided to let them become more amber then they were that day, D71. So I let them go another 9 days, until today. Day 80, when I decided that there had been more swelling of the bud and there was approximately ~20% amber trichomes. The Nova OG, in my estimation had a wonderful structure and a very good leaf to bud ratio. The writeup on the TTG website said the buds would be "rock hard nuggets", and true to their words, the buds were solid. I used 5 gallon airpot, and wet trimmed, and the plant produced approx. 96grams (estimated, 25% of wet weight) of solid bud with little to no larf. I guess the open structure allowed the autocobs to penetrate to the lowers, and that a good thing. This lady was continually shedding fans every 3-5 days from day 49 on, which made todays trimming a breeze. Wife and I only spent a bit over an hour to complete the job. Compared this to the other TTG product, Twisted Menagerie I did earlier this month which was about 50% smaller and nearly the same time to process. I know the time to process is not legitimate reason to run a product or not, but with all the other things that this variety has going for it, when you add that to the list it really shines. It wasn't greasy, or wet, but had very "thick cakey resin" on the fingers of our gloves. If this bud turns out to be even a bit better then average, then she will be a keeper in my garden moving forward. Time will tell, and very soon. Now some pictures.

Thanks @Firedad , 2 of the 3 TTG genetics are in the jar( Twisted Menagerie & Nova OG), the final one will get the cut this week (Crinkle Cut). Smoke reports are still a few weeks away. Looking forward myself to see what those three offer in terms of meds. Now the hard part, trying to figure out what to run next. I still have four plants going that were strictly seed runs. But I am starting the process of collecting seeds now, and hope to free up some my space real soon. Thinking there might be a RBI Dosi, another TTG (AMR maybe?), and a Mephisto from the recent past (White Crack). The boys been asking for some reruns, LOL!

Hey @Firedad , I have 3 TTG strains now completed and through at least 3 weeks cure. TM, Nova OG, and Crinkle Cut. I have a buddy who does all my testing, a dude who has been smoking mmj for well over 40 years. I gave him a 1/4 of each over the last 12 days. After each one he told me that it was a 9 (nine). He had the most to say about Nova, telling me he was totally disoriented for the first 15-30 minutes after his hits. Unable to do anything but sit there and be spaced. Lost his keys, lost his bowl, his lighter. When he went back 30 minutes later they were where he thought they were, and where he looked and swore they weren't there 30 minutes earlier. Knowing him, that's a pratty good recommendation. He also told me that all three gave him roadmap eyes, moreso then most any pot he has smoked recently. But he loved it, and asked for more.

“totally disoriented for the first 15-30 minutes”

I know that feeling, lol. Thanks for the info. I grow mostly Mephisto but I’m gonna start adding in something different to the tent as I go. I think I’ll try the TM and Nova. I like my night time meds too and those sound promising.
