Mephisto Genetics Seymourbud's Soapbox

Today is day 56 for the Gold Glue, was just adjusting the lights and rotating her, and saw a couple of blocking fan leaves. So I decided to cut them off. The stickyness left on my fingers was almost wet/sticky, and was pure grapey. More so then any other Mephisto strain I have run. Must be the Grape Crinkle in the 4 assed monkey shining through. Looking at the 24 carat, I see bubblegum and sour coffee and fruity. No mention of grape. Either way, she is really a sensory experience for the nostrils.[emoji3]
Niccceee... you have me fired up now about my 2 GGs!!

Good Sunday Morning, Bells are ringing everywhere, Going to Carolina, Won't be long until I'll be there. You're my blue sky, you're my sunny day....

Day 58 - Gold Glue - Sorry bout that, song is always stuck in my head on Sunday morning. Been a bit since we photo-documented the girls, only 2 of them left. Gold glue has a overripe fruit smell to her, dealing with the heavy nute feeding without any fussing, and just rollin along to the end without issue or need for me to step in and screw something up. Gotta love this plant, and if her meds turn out to be something special, she is going right to the top rungs of the ladder for Mephisto strains.I think she is a 65-70 day strain if I remember correctly, so she might have several more weeks to pack on some more weight. She has been a joy to grow.

Day 81 - Grape Walker Kush - Still undecided on when to chop her; tomorrow on day 82 or the following Monday on day 89. The sugar leaves are showing enough amber to make me say tomorrow, but the trichs on the buds are still showing very little amber. Not sure, but think I will be happy either way. My thoughts are she might be overripe in a week and start to lose some of her effectiveness as the deteriorates. Decisions, decisions.....

She has gotten over her bout with CalMag deficiency due to operator (ME) error. She starting to sag on some branches due to the weight of the buds. They are solid, just not rockhard. As i said earlier, there is a grapey aroma to her that is very appealing. I'll stop talking and let you look for yourselves...

Thanks for the rep @KREATURE , I am really looking forward to tasting these two, and the Blue Toof Special I jarred a week or so back. @BigSm0 and his autocobs, Greenleaf MegaCrop, and @mephisto genetics for the win all day long!

Grape Walker Kush - Day 63 - What can I say about this plant other then she is everything that other have built her up to be. Good genetics (skywalker and double grape), check. Good size, check. Good vigor, check. Great smell, check. Ridiculous frost, check. She did have a bout with low calmag that took me a bit to remedy, but I think that may be consistent with anything that may have Grape Crinkle in her lineage. She also looks to be an above average yielder. She is in a 3 gallon airpot, and with an estimated 3 weeks to go, look like she yield between 2-3 ounces of quality meds. Yep, she is the real deal, highly recommend growing her if you get the chance.

Howdy Seymour :pass: Nice looking ladies in the thread. FYI, GWK is Skywalker x Grape Crinkle that was sold in the third Illuminauto drop.
Happy Growing!

Yes you are correct, I absolutely stated the lineage incorrectly saying it was "Skywalker x Double Grape", when it is actually "Skywalker x Grape Crinkle". Thanks for correcting that. I hope everything is going well in your neck of the woods @iampepe , haven't seen you around lately? Been a longtime coming this GWK drop, and now it looks like it will be delayed once again. I am wondering how many days you take your GWK and at what ~% of amber they are at chop. I am struggling with chop tomorrow or 1 week later, there is no inbetween unfortunately!

I think I picked the last ones around day 78, there was amber but not a lot. If I remember right you're into the night time meds so I don't think it would hurt to go a bit longer.

That’s stunning. Feel terrible I missed the grow but happy I saw the best part.

So now to some halftime analytics. So for this grow, I used 4 of @BigSm0 's autocobs, the 55w variety, for a total of 220watts. For the two plants chopped and harvested, Strawberry Nuggets and Blue Toof Special, the dry weight is 131 grams. So to date for this grow, 131 grams/ 220watts = ~.60 grams/watt. Not great as both of the strains are small-medium plants. But I think the next two plants will be at least that much (or maybe more) which will put the grow over 1.2 grams per watt. I think it can be better, and will with plants that are larger, but I am happy with those numbers for a grow that was basically on cruise control from day 30 on. Autocobs+MegaCrop+Mephisto=WIN!
