After my first grow, I'm wanting to make some changes to ease the process. I grew 4 plants in coco using the flora trio last run. I found myself not enjoying the process towards the end because of the time and knowledge it took to be successful growing that way.
I used RO water which took forever to collect enough everyday to feed the four plants and then I just don't think I ever really got the nutes/PH dialed in correctly. One plant ended up being a photoperiod male (supposedly feminized auto seeds...) and the other three produced very airy and not very tasty buds. Had TONS of trichomes and clearly have a high THC content but just harsh as hell and taste/smell like ass. I think this was because of my lack of knowledge and quite frankly getting burnt out and not caring towards the end of the grow. I did end up yielding just under 7 OZ off of the three plants so it wasn't a complete failure.
I have a 32"x32" tent
SpiderFarmer SF2000 light
I know growing in any medium takes research, time and hard work to get a good result, I'm just wanting suggestions of maybe a slightly easier way for a beginner grower that might be a little more forgiving in the nute/ph department!. I have some Auto Feminized Chemdawg seeds from FastBuds that I'd like to get planted in the next couple weeks. So far I'm leaning towards a premade supersoil however I'd like to hear what more experienced growers would recommend as a second grow for someone who wasn't the best with managing nutes/ppm/ph in coco coir. Also if there are any suggestions of a good supersoil that I could buy on Amazon, that'd be great.
Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
