New Grower Second grow. Just MegaCrop, no bullshit...

Cheap "300 watt" blurple from Amazon.

I don't know much about blurples or cobs yet for distance. I find my LED lights are all different depending on manufacturer, but 18" to 24" seems to work. The later in flowering the more they tolerate being closer.

Id have to concur with this. My experience and experiments have turned up the same results. 18- 24 inches seems to be the safe zone with LEDs. I keep them about 30 away. Until they grow to the safe zone. Than keep them there. Later in thier life Ive had them as close as 15" before they start bleeching.

Yeah, I tried to keep the light at 18" throughout veg and flower but raised it recently to about 22". I think it'll be good there.

Welcome to week 10 (Day 70)
So this is Seedsman's estimate of harvest time for this plant and surprisingly, they aren't all that far off. Trichs are starting to cloud up and I suppose I COULD harvest now but not really. Given how quickly this plant is maturing here towards the end I'm pretty sure I'll be harvesting in the next 2 weeks. The trichs are the boss and I'm looking for a LOT of amber before I chop, so we'll see.

Beautiful plant. Amazing what a little MC can do. :pimp:

Day 77

So here we be. I'm a little concerned that I cut back too much on the MC (~3.5 gm/gal) as the top leaves seem to be fading. Dunno if that's just the plant aging or if I'm starving it. Input???

@archie gemmill any words of wisdom? (or maybe just some silly nonsense?)

Trichs are mostly cloudy at this point but I'm not seeing any amber. Just keep feeding her and giving her light until she's ready.

i think you called it right  bottom half/older half of plant is a good deep green, top half/newer light green.although a plants need of N in flower is a lot less than veg,it still needs some.
a burnt tip never repairs itself,so later in a plants life if all the tips are a lil smudged,ya have to look elsewhere for signals.
some of the MC folk add a lil pk booster late on,think MC have come out with a MC mk11 tweeked a bit.
she was slow to get going, but marching on now :smokeit:frost is looking killer :cool1:
sorry i couldnt think of anything sensible to say :coffee:
keep er lit
:pighug:
