Day 11 since they went into the soil. They keep chugging along. I may have just over-watered a tinie bit. I had an under-watering issue with my plants last time. Think I went too much too quick. Live and learn.
Only got 2 plant tags so my tangie dream doesn't get one

Amazing how quickly they grow in 4 days, this is day 15. I need some experience or opinions on when to top dress (BuildaSoil craft blend). They are in about a Solo cups worth of seed starter in the middle and the rest is Fox Farm Ocean Forest. My mix of Ocean Forest and Happy Frog lasted almost 30 days in my last grow before I started seeing deficiencies. They were also in 5 gallon pots last time, this time they are in 3 gallon pots. I know the microbes need time to break the organic amendments down so the plant can uptake them. My initial thought was to top dress on day 21. Pics are from this morning, day 19. I gave them their first top dress yesterday. 1/4 cup of bas craft blend per plant. I didn't realize that top dressing would be rather stinky...not in a good way. I had to attach my carbon filter early, per the wife's request...but at least my bedroom does not smell anymore.

Was debating about training these girls or just letting them grow naturally. Finally decided.
Both Skywalker and tangie dream have a few pistils popping, just waiting on Ms/Mr forum stomper now.

More training, didn't have time to finish Ms Forum Stomper but was able to pull down the main stem at least.

I saw one small flying bug in my tent 3 days ago, which worried me. I've since seen about five, so I've been researching and took some steps to stop them before it got out of hand. Used diatomaceous earth, along with sticky traps and watered with mosquito bit tea yesterday. The first sticky traps I put in there caught five-ish. These sticky traps have caught more leaves then bugs, but I haven't seen anything buzzing around for over 24 hours. I'll continue to use mosquito bit tea two more times over the next two weeks. Dang that DE is a pain to get on the soil. Through all of it, the girls still look happy. They are stretching. Will have to clean them up soon.
