New Grower Second Grow Different Set Up

Ok. I'm only aware of very few autos that have a veg cycle longer than 10-14 days. There in bloom for a couple weeks before you even start to notice the heads forming. The formula always changes! That's what makes it fun
I veg photo plants 6-8 weeks. Compared to 10-14 days in an auto.

transiting into bloom early will result in smaller yields but faster finishing plants... i wait to switch untill vertical growth stops which is usually around day 33-37 for me
Going into bloom to early can hurt end yield. But as ive said. An auto only is in veg 10-14 days. If you keep feeding veg nutes for 4-5 weeks you will end up with much taller plants as the high nitrogen during the stretch will cause her to stretch further. That doesn't mean you need to jump into full strength bloom nutes. I run run a cycle of veg nutes for its first watering during flower to give them a little extra Nitrogen for the INITIAL stretch. Then ph water only. Then I slowly start bloom nutes. 1/4-1/2-full. Ph water only after week 6.

If the plant tells me she needs something else I diagnose and act accordingly but as a whole
Using
RootsOrganics potting soil and GeneralOrganics nutrients I only will use veg nutes sparingly. Only if the plant tells me she needs it but there's more than enough in that soil for an autos short veg cycle. Saves some money too. It's just not necessary.
Lights on 24/7 for 10 days. Which is max light during the short Grow stage
Ph water during transition
Start 1/4 strength Bloom and titrate up to full strength.
Ph water after week 6 ( I find no flush necessary doing this ). Even tho GO says you don't need to flush I would still recommend getting those nutes out before harvest. Your meds will taste better. Notice..... Dark ash means nute heavy in your smoke
You want a nice light grey ash.
Just my method. Try it.

I understand but believe strongly that bloom nutes should not be introduced until preflower are visible resulting in bigger plants some give at other stages I just believe this to be the best ime

I agree on the dark ash meaning to much nutes with the flush end product will definitely be smooth

Can anyone tell me why bloody skunk has such gaps on the top??? I havent taken any leaves off this time. Im wondering if this is going to turn into a huge cola any ideas?

I think That top cola is going to yield more bigger bud like my Blue Mystic. At those nodes, they will shoot out small sturdy branches for buds. Thay will create a huge flower. Good job guys!!!

the dark ash is more or less sugars still in your buds, but yes you want that smooth burn and grey ash
Dark ash could be some sugars. But mostly it's over the nutrients necessary.During veg I barely use nutes if at all And I'll only run 1 cycle in flower
( 1/4-1/2- 1/1 ) Ph water only after week 6. No flush.
