New Grower (Second Grow) Black Domina and Northern Lights

Update:

Black Domina clones (3 in total) to the bottom right of the tent. They are a month or so into flowering 12/12 cycle.

The 3 NL's are 31 days into an 18/6 cycle. One is far taller than the other two, that one was fimmed, and the other two topped at 13 days.

What I'm most happiest about is, the leaves have begun to look much better and growth has accelerated a little, since adding Plant Magic Magne Cal+ and adjusting PH levels to around 6.5 each feeding and watering.

Black Domina & Clones are now day 33 into flower..continuing to feed the same nutrient range, BioBizz, alongside Plant Magic Magne Cal+

All looking good so far.. things seem to be progressing along nicely here, see photos

Northern Lights - auto, Day 40
The 3 plants are doing great, a combination of LED and CFL's in use currently. I re-potted all 3 of my NL's into pots that are over two times the size of the original pots they was in. This is an attempt to potentially increase bud size, since I figured they'll be in bigger pots, and bigger pots yield bigger buds.

I'm happily tinkering away, managing this small garden, and it appears to be progressing along nicely :smoking:

The seedling is an Auto-flowering (Dinafem) Blue Kush, 8 days old.

Update on Northern Lights:

Day 47 from seed. They are doing great, the taller girls have really grown and are now in my taller of the two tents however the bud development appears really slow. The shorter stockier plant has produced some amazing looking buds, orange hairs coming through quite a lot, and the white pistil hairs are turning orange. It's about ready to harvest, I'm probably going to harvest that one first, as it appears to be almost complete.

Black Domina & 3 x Clones

Day 44 in flower.
The mother plant has produced some seriously resinous looking buds (up top) and looks on track for a 55 day finish. However, the stems below I think might need a little longer, as bud development below the first 7-8 inches could do with catching up a bit, so I am considering harvesting the bigger mother plant in stages, unless the whole thing catches up prior to harvest, I will harvest her in two stages.

The clones could also do with a bit longer under the lights, but having said that, they're looking as though they will provide a fair bit of bud for their size, so I am likely to run the clones as long as the rest of the mother plant.

Unfortunately I dropped and cracked the screen on my phone, so no pictures at the moment. I am going to purchase another next week, but will try and temporarily borrow a camera from somewhere, if I possibly can, to provide an update with some photos.. looking like a nice harvest on the horizon, from the view of progress in the garden, it's looking like a substantial crop coming up, but I am more concerned on the bud quality, over the amount, and am on track for flushing all my plants next week..

Dear AFN Networkers

It's been a while since my last update. Received my new phone so can now take pics again..

Northern Lights:
I have harvested the shorter stockier plant (out of the 3) and after a 7 day drying period, I have now placed into a glass jar to cure. She weighed in at 40.57 grams wet weight, and after a 7 day drying period she weighed a colossal 15.74 grams dry weight, .. lol.. oh well, such is life.. anyway after a 3 day cure so far, I have sampled this bud, it tastes kinda bland and earthy which might be a trait of this indica, and the high is kinda medium strength I would say, but a nice smoke, however I am sure after a week more of curing she will improve in potency and flavour.

I still got two of my NL autos under the lights, they are the taller sativa like ladies, and look totally different, It's so bizarre considering they're from same seed company. So I will run these until completion.

Black Domina

I have now harvested the larger mother plant, unfortunately that was 2-3 days ago and at that point I had no camera phone, so sadly was unable to take photos of how she looked before harvest, but I can confirm she was done and ready for harvest. I did not take her wet weight, because it was a lot of buds, but the photos below should provide some verification of this. Very sticky during harvesting, took me around 2 hours to harvest. However, I still have 3 black domina clones running under the lights, they are not quite their yet, a few more days I think, but am in no rush now since I got my hands on some potent home grown herbs in the middle of drying and curing.

I will provide a smoke report on the black domina after she has cured for a few days, and a dry weight report. She has been a pleasure to grow, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience, though now I'm really looking forward to a nice smoke once she is cured. Currently drying inside a large Primark store bag (large brown bag).
