New Grower (Second Grow) Black Domina and Northern Lights

Update my 3 NL's I think have been really slow.. they're on day 27.

I added some Plant Magic Magne Cal+, alongside the BioBizz bloom & Alg-a-Mic nutes, and have PH the water to 6.5.. I think I had a calcium / magnesium deficiency judging by the leaves?

And just kinda overall.. these 3 plants have looked droopy and slow to grow.. and not as full of beans as my other plants.

Having given water, nutes, light and love.. I'm running outta ideas.. .

Feedback, thoughts, ideas welcome...

they fair shot up the last few days.looks like cal/mag to me,but im no Percy Thrower.NL is one of them varieties that are sometimes known to go 100 days,if it seems a bit slow to you.

Thanks Archie, yeah.. I think you've hit the nail on the head.. since adding the Plant Magic Magne Cal+, I think as quick as the following day (24 hours) I noticed some vertical growth.

My Black Domina - mother plant had been hit quite bad with the calcium / magnesium deficiencies, she is really good at recovering quickly I have noticed, perhaps as she is very resistant, and I've been adding BioBizz Alg-a-Mic throughout this grow on all the plants, which may have contributed to faster recovery rates.


But overall, it could be due to the water being too hard or soft in this part of the world, which I guess makes it necessary to use these extra supplements, like Magne Cal+.

Update: Black Domina (photoperiod) plant is now 24 days into a 12/12 flower cycle. She was in veg state for around 4 and a half weeks before I switched to 12/12.

Plant height: Around 16 inches tall.

She did get some cal/mag deficiencies, so I have now begun feeding Plant Magic Magne Cal+ alongside BioBizz Alg-a-Mic, Grow and Bloom. Alg-a-Mic at 3ml per litre, and Grow & Bloom nutes around 1ml - 2ml litre.

The 3 BD clones are also doing well, I will update with pics later, which seemed to have managed to escape the cal/mag deficiencies somehow..

But here is BD Mommy plant, she was topped once, and has been defoliated a couple of times, pics were taken yesterday (day 23 into flower). I will also make sure to PH the water to 6.5 every feed from here on..

One thing very noticeable about this plant (Black Domina) there is hardly any smell whatsoever! This strain has got to be in the top 5 ultimate low odour "stealth indoor strains".. incredible really.. considering it's reported potency..

most of the time i can smell nothing,just a poor sense.some folk would say i have no sense but thats another story.
sometimes a low odour plant can smell a bit at one stage or other of its life or death.they can sometimes jump up on you,even if it dont smell today double check fans are on and working.

Thanks Archie, yeah It's been like this a while really, it had more of a stronger odour during veg than 4 weeks into flower.. kinda weird huh?

a few of the micro growers Mr. Sparkle Smorf and others have or had grown with none or a homemade carbon filter.they seek out low odour strains,i remember a few times they saying more smell in veg than flower for certain strains.i thought it odd,but trust their noses more than mine.

Ok I see yes.. That explains it.. I thought I was going nuts or something, honestly.. I am thinking it's kinda strange this big plant is 4 weeks into flower, and their is barely any odour.. so this is a strain I will be growing a lot more of I think in the future.. just for this reason alone, and also it's noted to be a very potent indica.

I've never tried black domina, so looking forward to harvest time, and I also have about 2-3 seeds left.. I am definitely keeping er' lit tonight sir..

I think also some nice Afghan Kush Ryder (auto) also on the list amongst future grows..
