New Grower (Second Grow) Black Domina and Northern Lights

Nice thread man. As an experienced grower who has been in your shoes I can say the excitement to chop gets the better of us. But buds swell towards the end and you're essentially losing yield. When you think its ready to chop give it another 2 weeks and then asses it again. Best of luck brother. Patience pays off good luck man

Thanks for your input yes, the excitement definitely gets the better of me.. especially as the buds begin to swell, and you're kinda running low on smoke.. the thoughts of an early harvest will entice you into this process real quick! Oh well, we live and learn.. these two NL's which I've currently got on the go are beginning to entice, but I will not fall for this twice lol.. even tho' I am honestly tempted, because the buds are smelling nice and swelling, but I am gonna take your advice and wait a couple more weeks.. : )

Cheers pal ill be all over them.
Yes sir, give it a go, if you get the opportunity, I've read good reports on these, and they've definately taken a lot of my (new grower) anxieties out of the drying & curing process, less worry, less stress, and more time now to focus on other stuff while they're curing and doing their job, it's gotta be worth a shot..:)

Smoke Report on my recently harvested Black Domina

Following a 5-6 day drying period in optimum temperature and humidity conditions, and several days in the jar with a boveda 62 humidi pack, i can confirm this weed has begun to turn extremely potent, and has completely lived up to the hype, taking me by great surprise and shocking me in the process,.

So I had been sampling the drying bud over the course of 5-6 days already, and a couple of days ago, it wasn't quite their. It's now lost it's grass / hay smell, and in the last couple of days, the weed burns, tastes, and smells like high quality marijuana. It totally knocked me for six, and I actually got so stoned I had an awesome nights sleep, the first one in a long time.

It has been described on the Sensi Seeds website in a very accurate manner, I am getting tones of pepper, hash plant, blackberry, passion fruit even, it's got that hard hitting strength, and the flavour has become something i am becoming accustomed to, and have to admit to really enjoying this amazingly potent strain, The strength of this weed is incredible, and it's not an understatement, I actually initially felt having read the description and reports regarding this strain, that it was over-hyped, but I have been so wrong, it's a complete pleasure to smoke, and strong indica strains have always been my preference.

I can honestly say this is probably one of the strongest and most enjoyable strains I have ever had the pleasure to smoke, and also now grow, I still cannot even believe I have had the pleasure and experience of growing this strain.. This weed knocked me clean on my ass, like a Mike Tyson left hook, and kept me on the canvas ..floored in a haze, wondering what the heck happened lol.... I kid you not!!
Fascinating, trance inducing, beautifully strong, and delicious indica goodness..this is one i hope will never end! ... :smoking:

Update: Tues 26 Dec 2017.

Day 71 from seed. This is my final Northern Lights (auto) and has been flushed, and I will likely harvest in next couple of days or so.

P.S - The plant in the background is Dinafem Blue Kush (auto) which I am not really creating a diary on.

Update: Tues 26 Dec, 2017. Harvested Final Northern Lights (auto)

This is my last northern lights plant, out of the 3 I had grown, and it's been a fun and interesting journey with these northern lights plants. They don't seem to have taken up a lot of my head space or time really, as I was so consumed with getting my Black Domina plants ready for harvest, and more excited about that strain, however.. the northern lights are a different 'kettle of fish' and I am looking forward to a proper cure and smoke of this strain.

Here is a picture I took earlier today, apologies for the not so great quality, however it seems to be not too bad a haul, I did not weight the bud while wet, but will provide a dry weight and smoke report in due course.

Great looking grow, @Haziikush9 !

You have me convinced I need to gather up some Black Domina beans and give them a grow. I love Sativa's.

Merry Christmas, Dude! :chimp:[]

Thank you sir, Merry Christmas indeed : ) I kinda timed this grow to coincide with ensuring I have plenty to smoke around this time of year, as weed is really difficult to get hold of during Christmas time here.. So I've recently been smoking my Black Domina harvest.. and can confirm it is very strong and potent weed, however it's more of an indica high, due to genetics of the plant, beautiful smoke however, if you get the beans.. you will not have any regrets with this strain, best of luck : )

very nice grow  nice journal a real good read.
nice harvests enjoy :pass:
:pighug:

Thank you very much Archie for the kind words.. it's very much appreciated! And for my next project sir, I am considering making some hash out of the Northern Lights, (if I get enough bud once cured).. and will post some photos somewhere on this site once I have had a go at this.. But first I need to order some supplies on-line, and then once they've arrived.. my Northern Lights should have cured by then and be ready to process.

Then the fun will really begin .. :pighug:
