:smokebuds: Yeah Botwin I hope you stay while in your hiatus... At least for the great advice you give and the eye candy! :howdy:

Hi everyone. Life's been crazy so I haven't been around the site much lately. I had to travel on business last week, and when I got back, the PE had developed a bad mag deficiency. Somehow these things always seem to happen when I'm away... So I gave a shot of calmag to slow it down, but this late in the grow I'm not too worried about it. I've also had my father in law pass away this week, so I'll be traveling and focusing on other things for a while. Apologies to those who have PMed me and not gotten a response. It might be next week before things settle down and I'm back in normal routine.

First of all, the RRF and Haze are dried and in the curing jars. Thankfully I've got them down below 65% humidity, so I should be able to leave them for a while without worrying about mold. The Haze came out to 19g and the RRF was 17g. Pretty good for a plant that was barely a foot tall.

The BPE and AA are still doing fine apart from the mag deficiency that has uglied up some of the fan leaves on the Pineapple Express. They were pretty dry as they really should have gotten watered a couple of days ago, but I just couldn't get to it until today. I went back and forth about giving them one last feeding of bloom nutes, and finally decided to go for it. The AA buds are starting to firm up, but the BPE definitely has a ways to go. So after today's feeding they'll get a couple more waterings during final flush, and should be harvested in 10-14 days. Still not much smell from the BPE, but the AA has a kind of a grape bubblegum smell with a bit of skunk mixed in. The main cola on that one is really getting chunky and it's coated in trichs, so I know it'll be a nice harvest. The jury is still out on the BPE. It really needs to pack on some density here at the end, so hopefully when I get back and check her out I'll be happy. Here are a few quick pics:

prioritys are important
They look ok for 58 days i would have thought they will be starting to finish up anyway 1-2 weeks like you sais so yellowing was coming anyways i would not sweat it and there going to finish up well soon

so whats next on the hit list?

Sorry to hear about all the stress and about your father in law, Andy. I'm sending you some strength through the ethers....

Deficiencies or not, your girls still look kick-ass! :peace:

Sorry to hear of your troubles Andy. I hope things smooth for you soon.

I wouldn't worry about the plants either mate. They look like they are going to do well despite the minor problems.

Anyway, looks like plenty more fine looking buds to add to the winter stash :) top man

Thanks for the well-wishes guys. I'm just getting back in the saddle & I don't think I'll ever be able to catch up on all the posts while I've been away. Plants are looking good in the final flush and still have another week or so before harvest. I'll have an update soon.

Agito, after I take a little break I'm not sure what I'll try next. I've got beans on hand for lots of strains that I've never tried before, and I definitely want to go with an AFN variety or two. I feel like I've got a pretty good low-cost setup for growing 4 different varieties and pulling 12-20g off each plant. I'm tempted to do that again and further tweak my feeding schedule and soil mix. I really like having a lot of different strains on hand. Or I might go with a couple of plants in something like 3 gallon pots just to see what kind of larger yield I can get. Still not sure.

Very sorry to hear of your father in law Andy...

I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll do next. :smokebuds:

Here we go with another update. Just counting the days right now as we're getting close to harvest. It's been a week since the last feeding, so I figure another 7-10 days flushing these girls before chop time. The BPE buds have firmed up some in the past week, but they're still fluffier than I'd like. The trich production has also been lagging behind the other strains that I've grown, but now even the lowest buds are getting frosty. Still no distinguishing smell other than generic green weed. The AA buds are really getting beefy, and it continues to put out an amazing amount of trichs. The fruity smell is still there, along with a tiny bit of fuel and skunk. It's got a lot of amber breaking out on the main cola, so I might not be able to go much past another week. Here are a few pics:
