No, not quite yet. For those which I have saw turn, they need to be a little more mature. My temps are quite low, so that should speed up the visibility.
I've cut two of the three remaining males, leaving me with one of each for breeding. I'm pretty sure the male is showing some signs of colour, but only a little. The female is not showing at all. The tops had been cut off the males to delay pollination for a little bit, but I'm just going to let nature take its course now.
The little female it developing nicely, so I have put it beside the male, and let them get on with it. I'll keep them together for another couple of weeks, or until the male starts to get in the way.
Still no dark on the female, but we will continue anyway. I've had ones before that didn't turn colour, and their offspring did. I was hoping they would all show some colour though, as it is a Black Dragon. Still, I have been looking into other dark varieties, with a mind to breeding them. Unfortunately a lot of the plants I could choose are only available in a female seed.
Another big week in the tent. The last male sowed its last pollen before being culled. Some of the female bud is slightly yelllowing, which is a good sign. At this stage i hope to get some seeds from this one, but as there's no black in her i may go back to the remaining seeds, and see what I can get from those. That will not be until after the summer, as my 12/12 plants now need the attention.
The female has put on a little weight and size. Nothing too drastic, but if she's now seeded then we won't see a lot of difference in that way. 12/12 in a couple of weeks.
