New Grower Santa Auto Question

I grow for a few friends. Some have a specific request for a particular type. Trainwreck is one of them. It definately has the whimpiest stock of all the plants I have ever grown. You gotta stake that sucker up like a tomato blant and the branches still end up falling over and hanging like wet dishrags. What a joy to smoke gotta an old time flavour that makes everyone jealous when you light her up at a party. Everyone there tries to get in the circle. It has that kind of stone that makes your brain race with new ideas. Yup it should be official equipment given to inventive engineers at high tech companies. It is Ron Pauls favorite smoke I hear.

GearBear,
thats exactly what i was thinking. one could plant these smaller phenos in flowerbeds or wherever they wished and they would likely go completely unnoticed. my wife grows flowers in our flowerbeds every year, and i though, "HMMM...sure would be kewl to plant some in the flower beds".

yes, i already thought about that. i will be harvesting the small pheno female and keeping the seeds clearly marked and separate from any other seeds i harvest as to not confuse them.

Trifid

only plant ive ever had that was a crawler/climber was trainwreck i grew a couple of years ago outdoors. weirdest plant i ever grew and VERY potent i crossed it with an alaska TF and im going to grow a couple of them out this next outdoor season in cali to see how it turns out.

never been much of a hydro guy...LOL!

yes, im very familiar with phenos and F1s (ive got 3 of my own personal strans that are very popular here in northern california)

i grew the autos just to see what they were all about. sofar im liking it....seems that if they are good in an outdoor enviroment that ill probably run them in with my photo plants this next season outside for an early snack. pretty interesting stuff these autos!

Nelson,

i agree......trainwrecks about the wimpiest plany stockwise ive ever grown, but man, you cant beat the smoke. here in my locale (im sitting at 4500 feet in the mountains) it goes crazy outdoors. i got an average of around 5lbs off of my outdoor trainwrecks (from clones no less) each. i harvested one right on schedule and it was a real head smacker, but i let another go a extra 2 weeks and then harvested, and man, was it worth it. great combo of head and body, almost to strong. ive got friends that come by and when i fire up most of them ask "is that that tranwreck" and if i say yes, most of them will say, "no thanks man, to much for me!"

I grow some upside down in those reusable bags you take to market on my third floor balcony. They just hang upside down and grow fairly well in them. I used to grow my very early BeeJay in them but the trainwreck seems to really like the upside down grow style.

I couldn't agree more we need an auto trainwreck come on guys who can auto a photo. Auto a trainwreck for us. We got enough Hazes, NYD's and short fucks.

It isn't as big yielder but sure is a great topic of conversation to people coming up onto my deck.

ill have to try that!...sounds interesting

If you manage to retain the trait Cali please pass a few on to me i'd be interested in those too for future breeding projects. Tried for years to gain access to a variety called ABC from Mark Emery but they're since unavailable.

Train wreck - it goes crazy outdoors...

I agree.. the wreck - just like it's 'church' sister. Does very well outdoors. Robust and mold resistant

well i got my first crop of santa auto seeds done!.........shoot, from that one runt i musta got 500+ seeds! i probably came out with around 5k of seeds total!

A friend recently grew out some Santa. Had 4 girls with 3 different phenos.
2 of them were a nice main bud with 4 side branches, yielding about a zip each.
The one he chose to pollinate for seed was a very tall and bushy pheno with lots of branching and bud sites. 2 1/4 oz from her.
Last one, and my favorite, was a lower yeilder, 3/4 oz, but some incredible looking and tasting bud. While it was growing the small buds looked like they were wet. Tasted just like you were smokin hash.
Excellent strain. Got a few seeds from him, and they are going into my next round.
