Damn...what a food selection........I was going to say that you should Outlive all of us..then I wondered..what do you have in Dry store.....:eyebrows:..you don't have all that processed poo like the rest of us...?....:coffee:

I'd never made the connection about the killing season being when everything was Fat.....makes so much sense.

We order our dry goods in bulk from a health foods store in Fairbanks, organic of course. Rolled oats, wild rice, long grain brn rice, dried milk, pop corn(fav munchie), penne regate, buckwheat pancake mix, large cheeses, 3 types of wheat and rye berries for Sharon's grain mill, cases of Chipotle salsa, spices, turbinato sugar. Subsistence harvest is all about followong the fat, doesn't necessarily mesh with legal hunting seasons, the way of the bush.

I Blame Diners drive-ins and dives..and working with a load of 'Mericans......we don't seem to have the same smoking food tradition in the UK..But..I'm Up for something New....:chef:...I'll certainly have a good selection of fruit woods for smoking when trim season comes.

I always save my orange skins and dry them..my new citrus book says that the ash from burnt orange skins is excellent fertiliser for citrus trees...so I'm wondering if citrus skin would make nice smoke..kill two birds with one stone...:vibe:

the ground looks perfect!!!

Well..it is going to be interesting to See..coz all they have done is turn it over and sow..no food..which makes me Think again that agricultural water is Live..and it is feeding the land.
It is mountain run off..so it should have plenty minerals..and you get Large fish in it..so it has to be nutrient rich and oxygenated..hmm...time will tell.

Aunty Moss Moss tools just make everything better!!

Water is Life! The rvr water here is so alive, even in winter, need to boil it before making brew because it's biotic out competes the yeast. Real good for a body and of course the plants.

Fingers crossed I have the same here.....the dogs prefer to drink it to the tap water..but then again..we don't drink the tap water in spain...:coffee:..it is notoriously iffy..

I checked it with an ec meter once and it was almost 500 ppm's..
most of the staff said they wouldn't even feed their plants that..:coffee:

water coming through a pipe is always going to questionable, a marketplace thing, not necessarily concerned with health, a good water filter will give you safe drinking water

clean water, clean food, clean air, safe primal environment=what a human needs to be all she/he can be

@Grey Bear avocado flowers. :yay: unfortunately it is so cold and windy I haven't seen any pollenators near them..except for a couple of bluebottles..:nono:..but the good news is there are new leaves...and they look healthy...so they must be enjoying where they are..except for the bitter wind.

@Root.
Typical caravan kitchen.
Waste of space.
2 dead corners on the cupboards above and below I couldn't reach/use.
Sink too small for the pans...
We took the top line cupboards out first.
