no neighbors and dogs on the clock, nothing sneaks up. I've been using these panels for 22yrs! New panels are waranteed for 25 yrs, nothing else manufactured comes close to this performance! Solar panels were engineered to provide power to satellites in earth orbit, made to withstand the harshest environment. Nobody knows, yet, how long solar panels will last in the relatively benign earth environment. Because they last, used panels are a viable option. Initial investment in panels, panel mounts, wire, distribution center, charge controllers, batteries, etc. is large. And, as with everything else in the market place, some equipment out there is cheap junk. If someone in your hood has a solar system, good place to begin, you will need some help to get going, basic stuff really, but most folks are just unfamiliar. To change the subject, if you are calling the bees in with your gardening activities, you have encouraged a healthy nurturing environment, good job.I'm going to have to take time out to study bee keeping...the wild bees absolutely Love my garden..herbs and sunflowers seem to be their favourites..and the carob tree when it flowers.
With having the fruit trees as well..I need me pollenators.
Quick google around says I can find English speaking Spanish bee sites. Apparently they take it very seriously in spain..I Think it could be Interesting. ..
How do you find the solar panels trailanimal..?..lots of off the grid homes use them over here...but the couple who run the dog kennels says going solar if the fastest way to go bankrupt over here.
Expensive..and apparently thief magnets...they have had people try to dismantle their system to steal it.
I'm guessing you don't have the burglar problem where you are....too cold and no neighbours.

Nothing like being able to put your land under water when it's thirsty. Once upon a time lived on 3 acres in N Cali, had ACID water, no bs, Anderson Cottonwood Irrigation DistrictMeanwhile back at the Ranch.....it has been a funny old day.
We ended up with more land than we started the day with....the farmer who is going to use the land brought the JCB in to start clearing the borders back to the boundary of our land.

Everything went back to a boundary hill..which we couldn't see for the overgrowth.

He dug out the sluice..and he has created a bank..so the field is almost tanked..and they are going to flood straight from the sluice instead of using the pipes which may or may not be caved in.
So straight away we have more land....and we now have an operational agricultural watering system that works...the sluice was bedded in with 15 years of soil coz it hadn't been used for that long.
Hubby tried to dig it out a while back..just to try the system and he gave up.
The digger did it in a matter of minutes. Amazing what you can do with the right kit....looks a lot bigger now.
