Meanwhile..back at the Ranch......oh what a few weeks it has been...

Too much work on the Ranch..too much work at AFN..and I am well and truly Knackered.

After the Farmer chopped the weed down we could see a 2-3 ft perimeter around the garden that the machine is not going to get..so we started the heavy weeding..:no:..and what a lot of weeding there is.
The main garden in 25 x 27 sq meters..lots of weeds..

The main Tool is what I'd describe as a trenching tool..and my hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders are wracked up with the impacts.

I'm getting OLD... ..too old for this kind of work..even without my nerve damage.

It is only the threat of hubby breaking out the weed-killer that has kept me going.

Sheep? Mower? or both?

The little tractor with a different attatchment Trapper..this is him putting the first plough through a couple of days later.
He is supposed to be back on Friday to put the fine drill on..but the weather might put a stop on..high winds and rain forecast for the next two days.

Shame..I was hoping to spend the Night there Friday..watch the eclipse through the day..then the sunset..then sunrise on the first day of spring but hey ho..if it is freezing and wet..I guess it will keep.

Getting attatched to agricultural water is an ongoing problem..:slaps:..we went to our town hall..yeah yeah..no problem..you need to go to the office and see this guy..he will sort it out for you..

went to his office..yeah yeah..no problem..but you are on the wrong side of the canal for this area..you belong to the next town..here is a map and a phone number..go see this guy.

Hubby went down..found it no problem..but it was shut..it only open 9-1 pm..6-9pm..so he went on the Saturday shut..
Monday..open..gets to see the guy..yeah yeah..no problem..
but..you need to go see the President of the water co-operative and he will sort it for you..

and..you never guess who is the President of the water co-op..the farmer with the place next to us...

So..you would Think it was going to be easier from there huh..?..the farmer next door is a real Nice guy..come over and introduced himself when we first got there..said if we needed any help just Ask.

So hubby is waiting to see him..nips over the field to Ask..and you know what...he says sorry..my place is the terminus..the water comes into the bottom of my farm..and that is as far as my jurisdiction goes...:slaps: ..

Soooo..now we are stuck waiting to be able to get the translator and the farmer together to see Who our water comes under..and if we can access it.

We'll get there...Eventually.....nothing is Easy in Spain..Except the Living....

I Wish it was muscular oldster..but it's me bones.....now you Know it is old age...

I'm using mag spray DMSO and olbas oil by the bucket load.

I'm using canna leaf/coco oil transdermal too..because I'm getting more sun..so I'm slathering up.

Meanwhile back at the Ranch.....we have absolutely No Chance of seeing the Eclipse..

Totally overcast..Gutted..I wanted a photo of it over the Ranch..and I wanted to stay over tonight to Watch the last sunset of winter..and the first sunrise of Spring...

Instead I got a sleepless night wondering if the tunnel would still be there this morning...:no:..strong winds and heavy rains passing through.

Hubby is away to the builders merchants for some sand to sand bag it down a bit more.

Fingers crossed that will do the trick.

This is the funniest I have seen..old wreck of a house and a couple of weeks ago a glass shower cubicle suddenly appeared..outdoors..with a 50 gallon water butt on top of it...

I haven't seen anybody use it yet..but I expect the water is still a bit cold...
