So gross i could never eat a snail! YUK!!! The African snail has been a pet in south Florida for a few years. Now the snails have been set free in Florida and are everywhere. they have no predators and eat the stucco off of houses..

Mossy I forgot to mention earlier, I don't think i ever saw the tv show about the couple who moved to spain to be snail farmers.
Can you remember what it was called?
I know my strengths and abilities and I don't have unrealistic expectation, so it would be good to see how I a measure up against them.

Meanwhile...back at the Ranch..
..it has been a funny old day...
Hubby went into over drive with pinning the tunnel frame to the ground...
..he has decided on four fixing posts and 16 pipe clamps to pin the lower frame to the ground using tent pegs.
The more the merrier to me.
He managed to get the long ground spikes to line up with the frame bolts..so it is working Nicely.
16 frame clamps..16 tent pegs bought.
Another 4 days of high winds forecast..work resumes shortly.
As anyone that knows me will realise...the Desire to buy Plants..any plants..all plants is absolutely overwhelming me.....no self control...
so I need to pot up me trees..and I wanted a bag of decent compo..so I got a trip to my local garden centre..Bliss..."pher Wiggle"
Obviously this time of year it is sparce..and the plants that are there have been sitting a while..Lady told us the delivery of new stuff was due next week...
It was DEAD..so I'm puttering about and one thing on the plant list is boganvillia. (SP)..ptHspit it out..
anyway..here they have Nice..newly cloned plants with plenty of branchy growth for 4 Euros each.
I have my Mothers...for me inpeneterable fence.
I just have to clone it and grow it..
Then I saw Aloe Vera..with no price on..I queried it coz they are pot bound..and I saw aloe vera Pups..that is what they call them..and they say the easiest form of repro for aloe vera is the babies they put out.
3 euros a pot..I know from Hunting that AV that size is normally 7 euros..so I grabbed 3..2 have pups..I'm hoping with a bit of Care..the 3rd will too..and I probably have my first 10ft bed.
So..I'm Happy rolling down the road to Home..on the main road..we Know there are a few Dodgy corners on this road..all Spanish roads have short corners..
so we are following a works van and trailer..and we see this bloke in a Big 4 x 4 coming a bit far out of the side road..but he was looking at us..so we Thought he was going to tuck in behind us....
then I heard hubby say..OMFGheisn'tcomingstraightoutisheOMFG..Boosh..and suddenly car parts are raining down on us and we pull over to a stop.
Hubby..thankfully..drove for 30 years for a living so his reactions are cat sharp...when he realised the guy wasn't stopping he hit the accelerator and that probably saved me taking a full on side impact coz we are right hand drive..I'm in driver position.
Hubby was in a mind blow of expletives and jumped out to inspect the damage..Most of the flying parts were from the other guys car..he clipped our right back bumper and took his light panel out.
Our damages were mostly cosmetic and will polish out..one looks as if it is through the paint work..but hey..it is an 11 year old vehicle..:dunno: ..we ain't gonna bite the guys ass.
He apologised profusely..we said hey..cars don't bleed..he says yes but my wallet will...:jaw:
Well Thanks bud..if my husband hadn't realised you were a total Dick and accelerated..it might have been Me doing the bleeding...ASSHOLE...:slaps:

Would not suprise me at all, they proberly have been logging them since the shutdown, the mods and admins are supposed to be starting their own site up soon, will keep a eye on torrentfreak.com the news seems to be pretty good there. I have been finding kickass.to a very nice replacement though.
