Lighting Samsung/ Bridgelux eb strips build

So got my 2 heatsinks from heatsink usa and instead of useing the dual rows with the rs driver i pulled 2 eb and replaced them then i wired up 4 in paralle on one end and 2 in parallel on other so in total the fixture is still got 12 strips 6 eb and 6 samys 4x single row and 2x dual row h serise and 6x eb singles

Also im going to test out some diff drivers so watch for that

Yes I've tried meanwell hlg 185a-700ma , also running 2 meanwell rs15w 24v adjustable voltage drivers one running 2 eb bridgelux 280mm long strips but I like the 4 running of one rs-15w-24v driver it's just as bright as the 2 but with better coverage I'm looking into the 0 to 30v adjustable driver. I've been slacking on this setup bc it works well even better than my 2 qb96v2 which I've used 4 different hlg drivers up to 320b-2800 which I like better then the 240b-1400 and the hlg185-54v and hlg240b-54 weather in parallel or in serise as I've tryed both or running 1 qb96v2 off the 240 and the 185 I will try to do more. So basically I like the strips are a better and technically cheaper cost for similar results I want to rebuild this fixture plus build a identical one so when I get my 4x4 I can have them ready and setup so I just have to hang them

So I got these in the mail today 22in eb led linear light strips I'm going to build the fixture but not sure if I will run them soft with my 200w 700ma meanwell or run them hard with 2 1400ma driver's so we will see wat seems best soon I'm not hurting for watts that's for sure but hopefully get less dark area's my qb96v2 are great but with only 20ish in depth and a 40in width I'm betting this will work better in that space my other space is same depth but the ceiling tappers to the floor so I've got 4ft maybe a bit more floor space that's useable and the set up I built at beginning works great in that space so we will see getting supplied up today and tomorrow morning

So I started building bc I'm not patient I got 9 mounted still got 5 but ran out of the double sided thermal tape so I got the general layout of the fixture waiting on the thermal tape here some pics

Here is were I'm at waiting on thermal tape should be here tomorrow so I can't wait

So just waiting on the thermal tape to finish and also gotta find one more power cord take a look this cost minus drivers I had $155. If I add the driver's it's still only $265 $275 that's for 450w for example my qb96v2 set up with 2 not including cost of frame or other bits was $99ea plus $110 for driver so $310 for 320w or my 1ft strip build that cost $75 for led $110 for driver and frame connectors ect so $185 for 200w so this new light should be perfect to grow with when I move I just need to swap the wiring and the angle aluminum frame will get larger anyway here it is so far

So I got the 250w 9 strip setup wired up with the dimmer it goes from 18w to 255w so so far I'm really happy with it

So kinda passed the thermal tape still ain't here and I know if I order it anywhere else it would probably show up the next day so I think I'm going to hang it till it gets here I can't wait to try them out my smaller version is about as good maybe better bc of the spread I'm going to run them both soon I'm in the middle of findings a new place and such once I move I will be running some tests watt for watt
