Hi all,
I'm a new grower but do have growing experience. I have recently done 2 grows following Tang's easy feed schedule and using the advanced nutrient range. Suffered numerous problems, which I couldn't seem to sort.

I've decided to try my hand at an organic grow for several reasons but am hoping to have better results.

Here is my setup:

Environment
  • 2 x 2 x 2m tent (2m = 6ft)
  • 3 * 600w dual spectrum HPS - air cooled(250w for germination and seedlings
  • 6 inch intake fan
  • 8 inch extraction fan
Medium and feed
  • 12 * 15L smart pots (15L= 3 gal)
  • 3 * 10L smart pots
  • Biobizz light mix soil
  • Biobizz nutrients
  • Reverse osmosis water
I germinated in a dvd case and planted on Friday. I wet the soil slightly with 1ml/l of root juice, in the centre of the pot where I planted.

I watered a very small amount again today with the same feed (1ml root juice to 1l of water)

The lights are about 17" from the pots, temps at around 27-29 (temp taken at pot level, under the light)

When do you think I should change from 250w to 600w? Also what is the minimum temps for lights off?

Any advice welcome,
Cheers

Welcome. Im also full organic. And temps should be between 65-85. 75 being ideal.

Fire one off for me [emoji108] HG

What products do you use mate, nutes etc?
Also, I hang my thermometer off of my light at canopy level. Where do you take your temp reading from? I've always done this as o viuosly it's going to be the hottest place and the plants directly under the light will be subjected to these temps

When your plants stop stretching somewhere between day 35-42,throw on the 600..Temperature wise, you don't want too drastic of a swing consistently for example say 75-80°F in the daytime which is perfect but then a drop to say 60°F or below for a week or more not ideal..lights off personally I'd say 65°F-70°F is decent then lights on anywhere from 75°F-80°F if you can maintain it..I mean if the temp creeps a little over 80 sometimes but nothing too drastic and you have plenty of air exchange and circulation you'll be good..Dial in your temps and read your leaves..They will tell you more than anyone on this site can.Leaves folding like a taco or serrated edges lifting up are some stress indicators.

Good luck
