New Grower Round two. Zkittlez autos

11 zips wet actually 12 counting all bottom popcorn nugs etc...... the next plant has colas the same diameter of a 24oz tallboyView attachment 1088120
So depending on how sticky you want your buds, I personally go for the drier side for the easier light and to keep it lit without relighting the reefer, you will probably have anywhere from 5-8 zips from that first one my dude! That was my whole first haul haha. With your other ones I bet you do well for yourself. Gonna hit the indoor pound club? Let's see!

Day 15 Zkittlez

Temps: 75F lights off, 80F light on
RH: 50%
Water: 1,500 ml RO water per plant pH 6.1
Nutes: 3.5 g/gal Megacrop 2.0 9-6-17
Light distance: 18 in
Light cycle: 18/6

So the girls got their first heavy feed today. I think they will handle it well because like I said in earlier posts these girls were nute hungry as all get out last round. They got fed about two hours ago and I can already see them perking up and looking happy. Hopefully they will be three feet tall by the morning :smoking: side branching is developing nicely and I'm starting to work on training the branches to grow where I want them to, and the girls are starting to finally take shape. The next few weeks is my favorite part, I get to mold these girls into the little monsters I want them to be. I find it fascinating that within 24 hours the girls are already bending up towards the light from the lst yesterday night. Well I'm rambling so.... Til tomorrow! :pass:

If you go diy with the QBs you can get some pretty sick lights for really cheap money. I don’t want to argue with the nay sayers but I can tell you that in my environment I am able to run lower wattages for less hours and still get dense heavy plants. I currently run my lights at 16/8.

I decided to go with the 132 b2 boards and if you run each board at 65w you need no run heat sinks. I run two boards per plant and 130 of V2 Qb is more than most plants will ever need. You can push them to 75 and get 150 per plant. If you run any kind of descent circulation in your tent that is more than enough to keep them cool. Four of them were $120 US when I grabbed them. I grabbed 8 and made two units that can each easily flower a 2.5 by 4.5. Ive had very good luck with the red spectrum in the 4K V2 pushing out tons of sugar. I figure with drives I have about $400 In to a modern efficient LED that will outperform most lights.

With dimmers I run 10/15 watts per square ft in early veg slowly getting up to 20-25 to flower. And on 16-8 my electric bill is awesome. But that’s just me and my 2 cents.

Dam yeah that scares me a bit! I was specifically looking at the kits that came with everything you needed. I am no electrician and tackling something like that seems very intimidating. As for the heat issue, I am in the garage so in the summer it gets a little warm but my current led gets way hotter than those boards I am assuming. I have wicked airflow in my tent to help with that, so that's not an issue. I want to get into that whole build your own but right now idk if im up for all that. If I go that route I'll definitely get with you all for suggestions and tips.

And as for the Rspec band I like it, it's a true full spectrum and no need for separate boards for bloom and flower. It looks wild!

Thanks! That's the plan at least. Trying to get this nute switch dialed in, but when I do it's going to be off to the races!

Day 16 Zkittlez

Temps: 74F lights off, 79F light on
RH: 45%
Water: No water
Nutes: No nutes
Light distance: 20in
Light cycle: 18/6

So the girls got a bit more lst today. I am trying to get them to fill in nicely and break the apical dominance in the main stem, by keeping it at the same height as the side branching. This worked super well with the zkittlez last round as they had rubber band arms it seemed like. Or maybe the whacky waving inflatable arm tube man.... Either way these girls take nicely to training and are starting to get that nice stretchy growth. I bet they will take off in no time at all, each day they are growing significantly and making me a happy daddy. Lol I'm rambling so I'm signing off. Well til tomorrow! :pass:

Day 18 Zkittlez

Temps: 75F lights off, 80F light on
RH: 50%
Water: 2,000 ml RO water per plant pH 6.2
Nutes: 3 g/gal Megacrop 2.0 9-6-17
Light distance: 20 in
Light cycle: 18/6

So the girls were nice and light and ready for a good drink tonight. I fed them with a little less megacrop this time at 3 grams instead of 3.5 because I saw minor tip burn last feed. The girls are getting stretchy and allowing me to do some serious training on them right now. I'm starting to get the shape of the main branch and the side branching lined up so that they can get nice and equal light. I love the uniform growth I see in some of all your plants, and best believe daddy is working on his sculpting skills. The girls look happy and I am totally liking the one nute! It's great! Here soon I'll need to add in some bud explosion but I really like the cleanliness of the powdered feed. It's no hassel and easy clean up. I just cut little squares of wax paper and put them on my scale, makes for an easy fold and dump into container. Much nicer then the three bottles of the trios! And I'm rambling soooo... Well til tomorrow! :pass:

Yeah boiz, looking good!
So preflower and megacrop, that seems to be a fairly common spot for slight N tox hiccups as the plants not needing as much N.
Watch for the clawed leaves and darker green color, if ya notice it, just lower the megacrop. Bud explosion should be fine to go ham on and sweet candy as well.
Also it may not happen to your gals, just dont be surprised if it does.
