Outdoor Round 2: Waira's Mixed Bag of Tricks Combo Grow '19

Shaping up really well! I know the AoF males were a disappointment but the one on the right (less leafy)is very nice. Maybe keep a little of his pollen?
Ah, got a SN a few days ahead of mine. I keep coming back to that one. A little more plant management , but worth it! I hope you get the stanky feet trudging through ripe strawberries pheno..yum

Looking forward to Lilly's twin towers filling out. Grow looking pretty good considering the
pissiness, you are working them toward harvest! I always plant some "sure things", strains I've done before and know will come through. Eases some or the nervousness of trying new strains. We now know the majority of autos on the market are in no way very uniform. A crap shoot

Hi @Waira my friend
Sorry to hear AoF turned out male, I can recommend to look for the best male cut one brunch and took them inside away from your growing area. Collect some pollen and hit some lower buds of your favourite autos.

The C99 could be a good candidate. Our friend nbbeerguy used the C99 for a cross with one of my strains and the offspring looks amazing. I have seen different crosses with the C99 and all looking great.

The AoF are very special there will be some so great males would be a shame to kill them without using a bit of pollen.

I hope to see you making your own crosses my friend. If you like I can give you some crosses I don't want to work with as a base.

Have a great day my friend

:bighug: Tobe mate, good to see you stop by! :pass:... I hear you on the pollen chucking, but at this time, it's simply not in the cards... My whole season has gone sideways, plus at this time I have neither the time nor resources or even interest in working seeds right now... not when you guys have done all the work already! I'd much rather try your gear Tobe, than fiddle with mine,... Also, though AoF is wonderful by all accounts, these ones were not so to me... very odd behavior, even now, the preflowers are poorly developed at the lower nodes- seriously mate, it was the tops that gave their sex away! As backwards as it gets.... Given the odd behavior of them, I wouldn't want crosses made with such unhappy responses to my conditions here..... The best I can hope for with AoF is somebody making fem's, until then, I will not try them at this location again,... crosses, I'll gladly try! As for reg. seeds, this is exactly my nightmare with them, months (not just weeks) of effort and resources wasted.... Fear not for waste though, 2/3 males are at new homes, one with a very schooled Sensei in our local scene... If somebody wants pollen, they can ask and likely I can get some.

:smoking: I hope so too BC, I'm ready for some strawberry stank!... As for the pollen/breeding, see above,....

>>> Trail -- Lilly is kinda oddly built, huh! I expected her to bush out more, but it didn't happen,...between my botched feeding, and maybe not enough veg' time, none of them did... All part of the grow-spot microclimate lessons learned! :face: A few more weeks sooner on the start likely would have made the difference. It also seems the whole lot stalled out, my bad there, no way all these strains are pre-bloom stretch slowing,... Funny, PAK is poking up more now, I wonder if it was, at least in part, a N lacking thing... fans said so, along with P!
Shiiiit, these are ALL new to me! And that trend will continue for the foreseeable future with rare exceptions, just too many things I want to try... If I had a larger space and all that, I'd love to rerun some things... My luck with weird pheno's is in full force still- :cuss:.. last year it was Outdoor Grapefruit and C+2.0, which I surely do want to run again!
Auto stability, best I've seen from that is Indie breeders, and I cite Tobe (his genetics) and Hecno's grows as case-in-point... both recent rounds were like clones in there! Of course, most auto's aren't bred that deep, but then, look at my damn C99a... That is F7 at least, deeper maybe, and I still got this 3 month pheno' .... I'm getting a sample of her hatch-mate sister today, that's how far off the mark this one is....I sure hope she's worth the wait! :goodluck:

Both my BLKMRRR were very uniform and BT, Bertha pheno are identical, and easy to ID at seedling stage, grown 3 of these phenos. Like you said, indie breeders! No pheno picking with BLKMRRR, just the way they come. The boys fine tuned this one!

Hi @Waira my friend
At first plants looking great, I am in the hospital with my son and can check some pictures.
To the AoF I understand your situation not making your own seeds.
I will think about make some fem seeds from one of my auto strains and let you know if I do it.

Have a nice day my friend

:dancer: beauties mate! That soft rose color is something else,...very nice flower structure to, I like the less congested look than some of the more heavy-petalled ones have,... :d5:

!

Hey mate ! Your plants are beauties :dancer:.Is Lilly a strain or her name you gave her?, i named the girls in my first grow  eg Nettie Lay Blueberry, Nina Lona Blueberry etc I hope to do some stellar grow this time:woohoo1:. Its a lovely reddy pink colour, the poor Camellas and the dry we are experiencing here. I have semi doubles and formal double ones. The formal seem to be less pest resistant.:smokeit:

.... I'm looking forward to the new releases! And what else is still cooking in the kitchen- :eyebrows:.... I want to see some of the Hawaiian genetics they have been tinkering with... Ronin grew some excellent beauties called Magic Island, and there's one called Ha'ponopono... :hula:

:bighug: :eek1: Tobe I hope things are OK?

Thanks mate, I was going to ask you about fem'ing some of your line! I know reg's have many pluses, it's the practical restrictions that have me avoiding them for now,... tent auto's, maybe not so much, but OD photo's is another matter... It just figures this bad luck would happen to me mate, first reg's I've run in years... talk about negative reinforcement! I'll still run the occasional reg., next year I need to get GBD/DAZ's repro' of SpaceDawg (used in Cosmic Queen) a try for sure!

:smoking: Lilly is her official name mate... Original Delicatessen is a tiny company, single breeder far as I know, and just a handful of strains... There's some info on this at the beginning of the thread....

I ordered some Alpha Wave/Binary. Daytime strain. Haven't seen any journaled, maybe I'll I be 1st, that would be cool!

===[[[ Update Week 11 ]]]===

:gary:Bloom is coming along nicely so far! This is a fun time to see how fast the strains are for this stage; who set first, ripening speed, finish time guessing,... the whole other half of a strain's performance! Right now hands down GB will be the first in, not even a contest there- :coffee:... estimating 2 weeks on her, which will be the earliest I've taken an OD photo here! Skunk Special is showing the usual Female speed, as she should since she's back crossed with some sort of auto/rudi',... Lilly is building faster now, likely be 3rd in, then OJ and PAK are neck and neck, with Cherry Bomb dragging her ass is last... That one is showing lousy speed, and very "Sativa" bud construction for an Indica dom. cross... Makes me wonder about the not-auto'ing issue all the more, which unfortunately I can't trace her handling well enough to call as a misfire or mislabel... My hope for her is the cherry aromatics, but if that flops too, I'm totally done with Bomb... I ran Atomic a few years ago and she was a shit-show for mold resistance, me and another OD grower were bullshitted about this by a rep'- :nono:... very nice bud, but the worst I've had to date for OD growing in my conditions.
Some good news/bad news on Lilly: her aroma is shaping up to be as advertised, Pina Colada-.... but after a recent foliar application of Armory, that antifungal inoculant, I found a couple moldy bits- WTF right?! Could be partly my fault, the application was later in the day, cool and overcast/foggy but I thought plenty of time to dry... guess not! Armory is no panacea, so there's that, but it doesn't exactly instill confidence about her purported mold resistance.... We'll bloody see, best bet is for her to finish fast before any possible crap weather visits which is always a dice roll at this time of year here,...

CrackLOG is loading up like a champ! It's hard to see it, too many leaves blocking the view which reminds me to do a little nip-and-tuck on her to open things up now- ... tons of trich's, aroma is very nice, so far it's along the OG/Kush line with some floral and sweet in there, and something else hard to describe... probably some funky from the White Crack side- :eyebrows: ... overall, the best performing plant this season hands down! I figure a couple weeks on her for finish....

C99a is a silly thing, she looks like an Italian Cypress! Definitely a throw-back pheno, behaving more photo than auto for this stage.... budding is really slow, but the aroma is coming on now and it's delish'.. sweet fruity candy, but it's very early still...

>>> CrackLOG... top 9+" will be solid bud...
