Hi, I wanted to buy general hydroponics rapid start for roots but it’s not available to buy near me. What’s a good replacement.? Thanks
Ok i forgot to say I’ll be using coco. Which one would be the best choice, Technaflora.? Can all rooting products be used in coco.?Technaflora Root 66 and Biobizz Root Juice would be similar products, but not necessarily similar ingredients to Rapid Start (in case that's an issue for what you're looking for.)
A mycorrhizal product can be very beneficial as well for your establishing seedlings.

OkI grow in coco. I use dynomyco mixed into the coco. And hydroguard with every feeding
This is the feeding schedule i want to follow it’s made by a YouTuber that Grows massive autos but i doubt I’ll be able to grow them that big due to my watering skills lol. How much water do you give them for the first 1-2 weeks and how moist does the coco need to be for seedlings.? ThanksI grow in coco. I use dynomyco mixed into the coco. I haven't used that particular feed. That's pH perfect? What kind of coco are you using and what water? I saturate the pots fully and let them warm up/dry in the tent for 24 hours. Then I mix the dynomyco into the coco and plant the seed. I don't fertigate for a week. Fertigate twice the 2nd week. I grow in 1 gallon pots. These are 4 weeks old today and I just hooked up the drippersOk

View attachment 1721823View attachment 1721824View attachment 1721825I will be using plagron coco 70/30 with tap water, Out of the tap PH is 8.5 and TDS is lower than 100 i don’t know exactly what the number is because the blue lab truncheon won’t read any lower. I was thinking about switching to auto pots after seeing the results some people are getting. Watering isn’t easy for beginners and with autos there’s no room for error = Long learning curve and potentially many stunted plants before you get the hang of it… On my first attempt with autos (organic living soil ) I was using those ecowitt sensors and most people believe they’re good to use out of the box but this man who uses hundreds of them said that they need to be calibrated. I was on week 3 veg and decided to calibrate them and they went from reading 50%-55%, to 80% then i realised that i had been overwatering and my plants were stunted, But i decided to see it to the end and got some nice bud off it (mango smile ) dried in a thermoelectric wine cooler at 60f/60rh but it didn’t yield much. I don’t know if i have the patience for hand watering coco i just want simplicity and auto pots or some sort of self watering system could be the answer. I might grow 2 plants in auto pots and two in (hand watered ) coco just for the experience. There’s a grower on Reddit called autopotomus (slapyobro) he starts off with 2.3 ec as soon as the seedlings pop up, He then he goes up to 2.8 ec in flower i don’t know if able to get away with it because he’s using auto pots but he did mention that this belief that autos needing less food isn’t true and the trick is to hit the seedlings with high EC early and they will adapt to it. I thought EC that high would fry seedlings… I guess there’s multiple ways to do things and that’s what makes it a fun/interesting hobby

I never had any luck with autopots. I run a diy dtw setup. Good thing with coco is you really can't overwater after like the 1st weekThey look good I will be using plagron coco 70/30 with tap water, Out of the tap PH is 8.5 and TDS is lower than 100 i don’t know exactly what the number is because the blue lab truncheon won’t read any lower. He said using auto pots is so easy it’s like cheating so I’m not sure why you had a hard time with them. What nutrient brand did you use.? And how many grows did you use them for before you decide to give up on them.? I might get 1 or 2 and see how it goesI never had any luck with autopots. I run a diy dtw setup.
