I will never plant in anything smaller than 5 gal. I like 7 gal tall. It is a lot of medium but I can not agree that the plant wants to reach the limits of the medium. 40+ cola Gorilla Glue day 68 in a 5er.

Just harvested Purple Scoops in 3 gallon airpot using amended soil (extra perlite and castings) and MegaCrop nutrient line. She was ~24" tall, very dense, not extremely open structure. Dry weight estimates are 70-75 grams of medium solid bud. I highly suggest a defol or two later in flower to keep air going through her as I can see where a humid environment without any defol may make her susceptible to moisture problems. She is very, very loud. Make sure your fan/filter combo is upto snuff if you were thinking stealthy. End product is very sticky as well, gummed up scissor 2 or 3 times in the 90 minutes I took to trim. Good Luck, you won't need it with these genetics.

So stoked to get started, but I would not feel as comfortable moving forward without learning so much from a lot you guys/gals here on AFN.

There are some potholes that we all must hit along the way but you will succeed. I am into my 3rd round of growing. I am beginning to hit a stride. I am learning to push these Autos hard. They simply beg for more. Once you realize you are not going to outright kill them it becomes much more relaxing. I almost enjoy having a small issue and figuring it out now (with the tremendous help of my AFN family of course). The 1st time the shit hit the fan for me I did not sleep. I was like a madman. It all works out great in the end!
