For me, I'd have to ask is it that much shorter to justify the extra cost for running the lights and ac. Annnd, I surely don't need the heat signature being put out at 1 am if some pd chopper is flyin over
Also, keep in mind that I recommend a reduced par for the 4-6 hours of “rest” and not complete darkness(as this is what happens in nature, it never goes fully dark)

I don’t know why this rubs me in all the right ways, but still feels wrong to me. Hahaha! It’s like when the underwear manufacturer changes up the material but the design still fits right
This makes a lot of sense is what I’m sayin’…

Are you runnin autos or photos? I've never tried photos cause I've heard things like if you got a nail hole in your tent you''ll muck it up. Same for someone that has a street light across the street.

I haven’t grown a photo in over 10 years

People grow photos outdoors. Outdoor it never gets completely dark. And then there are full moons every so often.. Ive done photos with LED floodlights near by pointing right at them from a distance.. I think the biggest concern with light leaks is the intensity of the light. Pin holes of light from standard indoor lighting getting through your tent wont have much of an affect if any at all. This is also what the people at Gorilla Tents conveyed to me. No tent is light proof unless you make it that way. They all have light leaks. Fabric tape is your friend if youre obsessive over it.
lol

Basically the higher the brix the better & guttation is a tell tale sign there is high brix in the plant.

The °Brix degree is defined as the percentage by mass of pure sucrose in aqueous solution at 20°C, which means it's a measure of sugar concentration corresponding with sweetness. But when we deal with cannabis samples, the solution often contains other solids, thus a reading becomes an indication of total dissolved solids (TDS) such as minerals, salts and metals, but in rather low percentage.

Let's break it down

°Brix is measured with an instrument called refractometer, which is based on a refractive index, that has been staple of optics for two centuries, thus is scientifically sound.

In layman's terms it estimates how much light is bent when it passes through a dense material. And because different solutions bend light differently due to their specific gravity, we are able to track our specific refraction value, that is converted to °Brix automatically by a refractometer.

Tom, I agree. I saw a picture posted and I know some else that had the plants on his deck about 10 ft from his sliding door where the lights were on into the night and made no difference.

What I've wondered is I've seen only 1 tester thread (I think) for roc. I wonder if more are coming like other breeders or grow n shows

Is that a real thing? What kind of light operation would it take to set it off? Asking for a friend...
