I grew sour stomper and double grape found the stomper to smell of grapes more than double grape. After a long cure (couple months) the double grape started a more heavy grape smell. Kinda like flat grape soda nice flavor too not sure if grape or just sweeter flavor. Both great smoke as you said.

I've found purple is just for show. If you're selling maybe that color will help move product. And the flavors from purple are nice and unique. But the stone is not as good normally.

Same with me. My double grape didnt smell like grapes. She only made it about 5 weeks cure though. I pressed a decent amount. Think I was hitting 21% decently. Ready for rocdawgfunk to come back lol. Even though I got seeds I want more

Yeah seeds can be an addictive thing. I liken it to women and shoe buying. I have more seed than I can use. I still buy more. I bought some purple rolex I'm waiting on to come. No reason to even order it other than I don't have it on hand. I have to give seed away to see them grow at this point as most I can grow at the moment is 3 at a time. I have over 100 seeds, it's a problem. My friends that get free seed are of no help either.

Double Grape is the worst name for that strain! Zero grape smell on almost every plant I grew of them, which was atleast 20. Great strain actually. But dont call something Double Grape if it doesnt reek of grapes! Sour Stomper has a nice grape pheno. But Roc bud has many LOUD grape smelling plants and I have done a fraction of them compared to Mephisto. I have grown hundreds of Mephisto plants, Double Grape is one of the more frosty Mephisto strains, but lacks odor in general IMO...let alone "Double Grape smelling'... I have some Double Grape crosses going. Will let everyone if iany grape smells. Good luck, slow
