Greetings all,

As a primary photosensitive grower, I will post up in here my continued journey in growing Photo's. Any Auto's will be in a separate thread. Hope you enjoy :bighug:

General Hydroponic's Water Farm system

I was growing perpetual, harvesting one plant and putting another into the General Hydroponics's WaterFarm recirculating system. Until the two-spotted spider mites showed up. I tried to do battle with predatory mites (Phytoseiulus persimilis), but due to the level of infestation and the predatory mites distaste for "sticky feet" (allowing the dreaded Borg to flourish on the buds) I finished up the last of that grow, and managed to be rid of the bad bugs once I tore down, cleaned and sanitized everything. Set off some Doktor Doom foggers and monitored after, doing some less toxic spray rotations so the bastards wouldn't become immune to anything.

World Of Seeds Pakistan Valley harvest before the Great Spider Mite Invasion of 2018 :sadcry:

Flash forward to now, as I try to dial everything in. I would like to start with plants at the same age, SCROG them and harvest at the same time. So I'm catching up to that as I finish my current grow of plants that were waiting to go into the perpetual cycle.

QuickGrow LED's in 4X4 tent

First tent is my original flowering tent, a 4X4 Secret Jardin DR120.
Lights in that tent are from a local grow shop, they are their brand: Quick Grow Ultimate Flowering LED's. They are 4" strip lights, and I have 10 of them filling the tent wall to wall with light.
This tent has six plants in a Water Farm hooked up to a reservoir recirculating the nutrients.
In this system I am using Grotek nutrients, with Humic & Fulvic acid added, CalMag, Si and anything else that the plants end of needing.

Upper res water, lower res nutrients

I keep the pH about 5.8 and run my EC at about 2.2, with a fresh water flush in the top reservoir as the plants use up the nutrients in the lower res.

That's a start for now, feel free to chime in with kudo's, boo's, threats, love and sass. I love sass:lol:
I'll add my other tents and goodies in stages.

Thanks for stopping in, I’ll have a look at more journals. I’m signed up for the Dinafem grow and I’m really looking forward to some fun, friendly competition.

nice set up you have going:pop:

Thanks, I’ll add my other tents and stuff and random pics as it progresses. Here’s my White Widow at day 28

There you go and nice setup you have too....

Thanks, and huge thanks for the rep :d5:
In addition to the updates for the Battles, I'll post the Dinafem grow in here for extra pics and for my own selfish reasons of keeping track of all the details lol.

Tent [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] "was" my veg tent, it's 4X4 but has a 1X4 partition with a shelf for a propagation side. Here's the best shot I got of the side, with my homemade seedling/clone DWC to get the roots going:

I've put the included partition up since this pic so I could flower out MORE plants in the 3X3 area.

Before pic, girls are bushy and just getting trained under the trellis

Close up of a Nirvana Seeds Bubblelicious after defoliation and training

I'm running an LED from a local grower, Titan400 which is rated to compete with 1000W HPS; I have not used it too much so I'm running it against the QG LED's in my 4X4 tent. It's actual power consumption is 394W and it runs pretty hot so I'll see how this grow turns out. I am running another JAH Seeds Blue Cheese in this tent, two Nirvana Seeds Bubblelicious and a freebie Jack Herer I'm surprised germinated due to it being older; sadly I can't recall who the breeder is.

I'm also running two Autopots in this tent with the reservoir, and two Waterfarms with no res but they are linked together so I don't have to try and get to the one at the back. have an inline pump to drain and fill these, and my recirculating system in the other tent.

Little update, I've been having issues with germination; doing to much when what used to work, well, worked. So back to KISS and a little experiment. I want good luck when the Dinafem seeds show up.
After a bit of scarification in a small container with sand, two freebie feminized seeds in Rockwool pH balanced and 6 JAH Seeds regular Blueberry in a wet paper towel. Both in a humidity dome with a seedling mat heater.
I want to save pollen from the BB I'm sure there will be a male in there. So far I've gotten great germination and female to male ratio from JAH Seeds.

Quick view of the "basement" under my propagation tent that is on a table in the closet. TurboKlone 24 unit, I love this thing. I got roots on my monster cropped Blackberry 9 days in. White Widow popped out roots soon after.
I know I can do the same without the technology, but man, I love technology and gizmos.
