Sorry for the wait. I was mailing to Great Britain and Feel certain it was not the vendor but the postal service. The company in question has adamned fine rep and I wont drag it into the gutter with the postal service.

I have decided that Earth Juice pH products are Shit in a bottle. I am having tons of trouble with my pH. I'm gonna dump the tank again, what a waste. I am going back to regular pH up/down again. It's really pissing me off. It took me a whole day adding a capful at a time, and got it to 6.3, one capful later, it's down to 4. It is not behaving logically. One capful takes me from 6.8 to 6.4, then one more capful takes me to 4? it's insane.

Maybe I should ship you some of our Lake Ontario water it's at 6.5 right out of the tap with chlorine .

Maybe I should ship you some of our Lake Ontario water it's at 6.5 right out of the tap with chlorine .

My well water runs around 6.4-6.6.....I don't even bother checking anymore.

Was the earth juice something you tried out of the blue...or had it been working for awhile?

I got it on my last grow, the Amnesia.. It worked well. I think the up works better than the down, but this problem is new. I'm not really sure why it's happening (chemically speaking) but it is not tolerable. If I hadn't know better than to put her right in the water, she'd be hurting right now. It could have killed my plants.

Pop22 thinks it's just that EJ is organic, and organic don't like hydro.

It could be my water. I use city water, and they can change it's chemistry anytime they want. I let it sit, and temp it, then pH it. It usually takes me an hour. This time, I already dumped the tank once and started over. I'm saving it for soil grows now.

I hadn't thought of that, they only a couple months old. The cal mag is well crusted around the bottle cap, but it's all foxfarm stuff, I need to switch to Advanced or Remo.
